To add to what Dude said. After you do that you need to learn the vehicle to the door opener. hit the learn button on the opener and press the homelink button. You may have to hit the button twice

Anyone have any tips for changing oil on the 1.5 with the composite oil pan? Stupid thing ejects oil like a fire hose.

Steps. 1. Hold buttons 1 and 3 until rapid flash to clear memory 2. Hold remote and home link button until rapid flash. 3. Press learn button on back of motor head. 4. within 30 seconds press home link button twice. You may have to hit 3 times and it should start moving

I absolutely love our maverick. Can push 50+ mpg in the right conditions. Right now with the cold I’m getting around 34 with using remote start. Has plenty of power. The brakes are a little clunky at lower speeds, but there is a tsb out for that that I haven’t got yet, that’s supposed to help...
