I went with a wired brake controller, very simple and straight forward to install. My trailer loaded is under 2,000lbs loaded, but has electric brakes. I also added the "hot" wire to charge the camper battery.
if it is the same one on my 2.0 Escape there are about 6 hose connections ,but fairly simple to put on. I got mine at Rock Auto for about $70. I don't remember the exact location. After installing it I had the codes cleared and all was good.
Yes that sounds like my issue. If its indeed made that way, not a good design, at least from the drivers perspective, ill see if it can be adjusted. I would be less concerned about it if a replacement bulb with was still still $10 instead of thousands!
I have had my Bronco Sport Badlands just over a year and almost at the end of the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. All has been good except I have a couple of dark spots projected by the left headlight. I noticed it the day I bought it , I was figuring something was on the outer lens. I cleaned...
Welcome to the group! Keep on driving! I have had my Badlands 13 months, I have put 32,000 miles on , doing another 3,000 miles this week traveling to upstate New York for Thanksgiving. Enjoying it more every day.
Welcome! I was lucky enough to find an Iconic Silver 22 fully loaded a year ago. Enjoy your new Bronco, I am ! Be sure to schedule one of the Bronco off Roadeos NOW! Its a great experience!
Congratulations! October 22nd was my one year anniversary. I roniclly I flew from Wisconsin to Knoxville Tennessee to buy it and we spent a couple of days in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park enjoying the fall colors. When is the Bronco Stampede next year? Our years schedule is already...
Yes the Bronco off Roadeo in Moab was great! We had Mellisa Clark as our guide, she was great also. We did 4 days of trail riding in Moab,so much want to return to do some more off roading.
Wishing the #200 Built Wild team good luck in the Rebelle Rally! The driver is Melissa Clark , Trail guide for the Bronco Off Rodeo Moab and Navigator Jessica Moore ,Trail guide Bronco Off Roadeo Texas.
My 2022 Badlands came with 225 Pirelli's . I am sure they would of been fine but after 5,000 miles I traded them in on some 235 BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A's. They look much better on the Bronco and are a three peak rated. They worked excellent in the snow last winter and off road. they are...
On a 2008 Escape I owned I put on a Curt Hitch and it came with fish wires to install the bolts, worked good,no drilling. I have the OEM tow package. You are correct you would need the receiver and bumper cover if you go the OEM route. I like the way the OEM looks, its tucked in and up as...
I got them installed and put them to the test. took a short 2,500 mile trip towing the camper to Detroit, Canada, Adirondacks in New York (well short trip for me lol). The airbags worked Great! camper and Bronco were level,no sag!
I will be interested when I load up will all my camping stuff and travel trailer. It did squat a bit before, but did okay our our Alaska trip except the rear tires got cupped. No doubt because it was sitting several inches lower loaded.
