  1. Oil Level Increasing

This may not be your issue, but I had a similar experience with a Yanmar diesel engine. What was happening was that as the engine cooled, the trapped air in the dipstick tube contracted and sucked oil up higher in the tube. Every time I checked the oil with a cold engine, it showed it was...
  2. Does anyone actually pull a trailer

The dry weight of my trailer was 1,900 lbs back when it was built in 1958. When I restored it, I added a roof AC and holding tanks, so it's now up around 2,200. But with camping supplies loaded in, it's probably a couple hundred pounds more than that, but still a lot less than 3,000 lbs. The...
  3. Does anyone actually pull a trailer

Towing my 18' Airstream at 70, I am only getting ~15 MPG, vs ~26 MPG normally. So far, we've made 3 trips of about 350 miles each, one way, so a total of about 1,000 miles. The vehicle tows just fine. No swaying or any hints that the trailer is too heavy. Still has plenty of power for...
  4. Cross-Country Trip MPG With Badlands 2.0L Engine

Welcome to North Carolina! We're just down the road from you in the Tryon area. I've had my BS Badlands since October, and I'm getting about 26.5 MPG on the highway driving about the same speeds you do. I'm wondering if your mileage calculator might be a little off. Have you calculated it...
  5. Does anyone actually pull a trailer

I've used my Badlands to tow my small 18' Airstream, and it tows just fine. The weight is right at the towing limit. The trailer has electric brakes, and I have a brake controller. Manufacturers are always conservative with their ratings, so I wouldn't worry as long as you don't go much over...
  6. Chirp when fob left inside?

OK. I was used to my wife's Chevy Silverado. It chirps every time you leave the fob inside - doesn't matter if you tried to lock the door or not.
  7. Chirp when fob left inside?

Isn't the car supposed give you a chirp when you leave the key fob inside? Mine has only chirped once - a few days ago - and that reminded me that it should be doing it every time, no?
  8. Anyone install the Bushwacker fender flares ?

These are the Bushwackers. I bought them direct rather than through Ford.
  9. Does adding an aftermarket LIFT void your warranty?

When we signed all the paperwork to get our Bronco Sport, there was an arbitration agreement in there. If you signed one as well, you might not have the option to sue. An arbitrator would decide the dispute.
  10. Hood decals to reduce glare

The glare is annoying. I'd be interested in the decals.
  11. Anyone install the Bushwacker fender flares ?

I installed them about a month ago, and really like them. RoughCountry also sells fender flares, but I have no experience with them. They may be the same for all I know.
  12. More aggressive sound in Sport Mode?

Haha! That's what I thought. I didn't see any way the computer could alter the exhaust system. What a cheesy trick! :)
  13. More aggressive sound in Sport Mode?

I like the way the Bronco Sport drives in sport mode, and I notice the engine has a more aggressive exhaust tone. Is that real, or is that just the sound system?
  14. What did you do TO your Bronco Sport today?

Installed a set of 1" wheel spacers and pocket-style fender flares. After rolling my Polaris 900 Crew, I appreciate how easy it is to flip one of these if you're not careful! I wanted a little wider stance for better stability, and I like the look a lot!
