Yes each and every single time that I start it. I did bring it to the dealer who promptly told me, not surpringly that it is a common noise that all Bronco Sports make. The "mechanic" blamed it on computers doing self checks. Who knows. Obviously I am not the only one hearing this type of noise...

Mine is 2021 with the 2.0 liter engine. I currently have 14000 miles on it and like you I don't recall hearing that noise until only a couple of months ago.

You bet. I don't use the parking brake either but I "believe" that it has something to do with the rear brakes because that is where I "think" the noise originates from.

Yes, every single time. I don't know whether or not you can hear the noise that I am referring to in my amateur video above. In my uneducated opinion it has to do with the electronic parking brake releasing when the car is started.

You know what they say about misery loving company...... I am happy that the sound is not happening solely with mine. When I truly don't want to hear it I remote start the car. Then when I step in the car and push the start button I no longer hear that scratchy sound (3 second mark of the video)...
