39.500 Smiles per miles. Iām getting a water pump replaced, as soon as the updated p/n is available. I didnāt bat an eye at either b/c of the water pump being an issue, and it being in such high demand-all thanks to good feedback on this forum. As for the time being, I am driving my wifeās 22ā...
jkeaton, I was taken aback from the lack of loaner/rental from the dealership I bought it fromā¦ But, I will give them props for not messing around with ordering the pump. Was there for about an hour, then service mgr came out to brief me. Looking tentatively to be towards end of Oct. to get a...
Mine was just noticed leaking at the pump Friday. Iāve got about 39,600ish on the clock. The reservoir isnāt that low.. yet. Fortunately I have an appt to get it serviced on Tues.
I wouldnāt hesitate to use it gatornek. Although the Ford factory hitch mounts appear slightly different than the Curt, it looks like both hitches with similar capacities either top load, or side load the bolts to the frame. In addition, even if the hitches by themselves are rated at 3500/350...
I liked the fact that the Curt hitch has horizontal safety chain hookups, v/s the Ford factory hitch. Also a big fan of the fact that Napa offers the Curt under 200$ plus free shipping. My opinion is that the Curt or Ford factory hitch is likely the easiest Install. With Drawtite, the rear...
Lol, I would have enjoyed some show and shine on Sat, but my girlies get a bit impatientš-they had a blast being out and getting āBuckedā also. One of the things on this thread that I would enjoy doing is the trail that Steelbronco was on. That looked like a bunch of awesome.
My bunch made it to the show about 3 Fri afternoon. Of course I like all shapes sizes, etc, I found the vendors to be Big Bronco heavy-especially knowing that some also offer items for the Sport. No disappointments though, I will be back. Lol, my littles enjoyed the tire vendor swag and getaway...
Dennis, I have been using normal since Iāve towed and havenāt had any hiccups. I try to stay aware of the fact that it is indeed a 3 cylinder engine in acceleration and cruising speed around 60 also.
After reading Mark S. reply, I think the question I was driving at was answered. He makes a good point about the ownerās manual for towing: Ford doesnāt specifically say tow in āāmode, so if they had a suggestion other than normal, it would be in the manual. Normal it is Dennis, and Greynoodle. š
Mark S, that is compelling enough that (needless to say) I will use normal mode. I appreciate the explanation as to āwhyā also. I have only had to kick it down to pull a hill with my boat, otherwise itās very smooth. Boatās probably not over 1k, if even-but you can def. tell itās back there. I...
I appreciate the reply Greynoodle, sorry for the late reply. I think where I originally should have gone with this post, is asking if anyone by chance tows in āsportā mode. Just for the fact that it changes the shift settings, holds gears longer, and eliminates overdrive. Not quite the same as a...
My BB was purchased in March 22ā-and is a 22ā Model year. I have about 34k on it with no major issue. I did discover coolant a bit low back around 16/17k. I pulled the cap and found that it was extremely tight where the pressure relief on the coolant system supposedly is. I am over 15k miles...
Bardstown, KY-Been tuned into the overlanding YouTube channels for several years before my Big Bend though. TN and Western NC have got some places though!!
I watch a lot of the videos on YouTube from the many overland travelers on this particular trail. I would love to try it, but the really rutted, rocky parts look like it might be beyond challenging for the Sport(my Big Bend anyway)-check out the Goat Trail, and Buzzardās Roost overlook. Also...
Thanks for viewing. Just curious which mode is the most preferred for towing with the 1.5 engine. I have used normal personally, but just wondering if any others might be the better option.
