Yes I understand that… the point I was making is the look Of the 245s are considerably different than the 235.
-225 and 235s are just the recommended factory sizing… not specifically designed for the bronco sport you can put other sizes on them that perform just fine.
Yes I I actually tried 3 sets of tires. All from “discount tires” bfg and Faulkens have a 30day guarantee on them regardless of reasons.
- 1st set was the bfg ko2 in 245/65/17- loved the look, hated the mileage drop, road noise and hydroplaning in heavy rain
- 2nd set was the Faulken at3w is...
I had the bfg’s and Returned them, they are super heavy, killed the gas mileage, tons of road noise and didn’t have very good wet traction.
I went to the 245 65 17 Falkens and I’ve had for almost a year now, no issues with rubbing, Great in wet and winter conditions minimal road noise and...
Yeah I’m not trying to buy more I already bought some 235s from discount tire and they were going to switch me out but they are back ordered from falken and offered the 245/70s instead
Is there anybody running to 245/70/17s without a lift? if so any rubbing or clearance issues it looks like the falken 245/65/17’s are back ordered for at least three months
I used laminx film to cover the lower fog lights, no need to replace new lights that work fine. Like 16$ for precut ones for the sport.
I ordered thru Ford as part of my free accessories and it’s a AVS BUG guard and it did have a ford logo but it’s just basically a sticker so I heated and...
Just took it out for a test ride and seemed like it did help with noise at under 60mph. Seemed about the same above 60mph but didn’t drive that long in the 60mph area. It seemed to help the mpg a little in the 15mile drive…so we’ll see how if changes things after a week of commuting.
Just added a Yakima fairing to my rack set up. Bout a 46” as the 40” are sold out until February or March. Had to trim like 1.5” off each side but was super easy and fits better then the 40” would have by covering that extra 3” of space.
Yeah super torn between the two. I was hoping the mpg would go back with the smaller less aggressive tread and weight difference, but so far has not changed. So debating on going back to the bfg’s
Do you have an software update needed? I had this happen with my BB and after connecting to my wife checked for updates and sure enough there was one needed. After update no issues.
