On pic the pulley seems damaged but it actually wasnāt. Pic is blurry but I went back to triple check on that but the loose threads from belt were simply making the pulley seem damaged on pic.
It was indeed water pump failure which also caused the v-band to start tearing. Vehicle spent a week in service and got back today. Not too bad considering I thought the water pump backorder would have me waiting several weeks. Possible, Ford reps from these forums helped speed up process but...
Itās gotten noisier like hamsters on a wheel but itās still going. Coolant has gone down again after refill last week. I may drop it off at service Tuesday or Wednesday before I get stranded somewhere.
It was fresh lubricant sprayed to calm the squeaky noise. I should take to dealer asap but itās only vehicle I have at the moment. Tried to purchase a 2nd vehicle but out of 20 inquiries only got 2 responses.
Have been hearing squeaking from drive belt or pulleys so had to check under hood. Commented on coolant having to be filled for 2nd time that Iāve noticed but also noticed drive belt seems to be tearing. I sprayed a little lube to calm down squeaks for the time being. Anyone else had the same...
I wonder if Ive had that issue for awhile now. Before oil change I notice coolant tank was low and service filled to correct level then I checked today and itās below minimum level line again. I donāt notice any leaks though. Anyone know which coolant it is, Iād like to know before going to...
I did that stretch in gen 2 Raptor last year with ease but definitely need to air down especially with all the debris one might go over. I tried to do the floating campsite at sea rim but failed. Itās a 2 mile canoe/kayak trip each way and with all the camping gear I had it would have required...
Thanks for posting! Been waiting for bronco sport to confirm Imogene pass and black bear. Why didnāt you continue onto steps/switchbacks? Was it lack of confidence on personal skills, bronco sport abilities/ground clearance or both? My own concern is if bronco sport has enough articulation for...
Ordered mine from tire rack and had Pep Boys install them. I went with black lettering showing and white letters turned inside. No, lift kit on mine just standard height. Thought, about lifting but since I have bigger bronco on order Iāll use that for higher clearance off roading...
No issues driving over deep soft sand on TX coast. Had the continentals at stock psi but have upgraded to KO2 tires since then. I thought it performed better than gen 2 Raptor in the same sand environment. My guess was the lighter weight of the BS easily cut thru that sand.
Didnāt realize I covered the accelerator pedal when I installed the weather techs. When I turned on a few hours later the rpmās went crazy cause the weather techs had the pedal to the floor. Silly mistake but dangerous.
I have that size KO2 on Big Bend with stock ride height and have not had any rubbing issues. I constantly have to go off road for work with inclines and side degrees with no issues yet. Loaded cargo area with 900lbs today which brought the rear down but not rubbing during transportation. PSI...
