Yeah and I quote "It's a wearable part and we expect these to need to be replaced around 60k-75k miles" yet there are 0 inspections of it included as part of the maintenance schedule.
Also their support has been horrific. I'm absolutely livid still, that there's basically a dead vehicle...
Got it back(just made them do a battery replacement), and the turbo is definitely shot again(which they did not tell me. They told me it was the engine, but on the service invoice noted it was the turbo shot again due to being starved oil. My oil was low when I picked it up which leads me to...
Metal found all in my oil filter, $8,000 hit for a new engine at 63,000 miles right after getting the turbo replaced. So 3,000 out of warranty and a new engine replacement, full turbo assembly etc after driving perfectly fine prior to the turbo replacement and immediately after until 15-30 miles...
Yeah it was crazy $2,536 in labor.
I’ll post it when I get back home.
Turbo Charger assembly out the gate was around $475. Hoses, oil feed , clamps, etc added up
The warranty helps then, totally understood on the P0299 being something outside of a failed turbo charger potentially. I had them do a full diagnostics the first time, and the result was them believing it was just a blown turbo, granted the turbo was entirely blown at that point.
Hoping it...
Hey Everyone,
I’ve had a hell of a past two months with my bronco sport. My Bronco Sport 1.5 is at 63k miles so just out of warranty…
The day before thanksgiving my Bronco sport went into limp mode and dropped a p0299 code. Pulled over and got the car home. They started working on it Dec2nd,It...
Yeah I have no clue how mine happened. I was not driving the car since I had COVID, came out to start it a few times but that was it. Then came out randomly to it cracked.
So after getting told by Ford dealer it’d be about a month to get in and I was at around 6,000miles in I said screw it let me do it myself.
So far I’ve only let the dealer do the changes besides my second change which I did myself, and now I’m at 24,674 miles.
So the first time they did my...
Honestly I just put mine in the trunk area now, Both dog beds fit then I just set up a barrier between the top of the back seats and the trunk. Also to add, the back seat covers/rubberized back if you had them added then the back wipes off really easily and the solid plastic scratches are easily...
Mine’s still on hold :( until it comes in. Been waiting around 2 mos for my accessories to arrive as well lol. They just got those in this week but already at the 5k oil change so picking them up when I go there.
In either case it can definitely tow, they have the tow sway software and settings on the base as well it's on by default for some reason as well underneath the settings.
Dealership told me it's the same frame and placement etc. So it should still be 2,000 even with documentation stating the difference, the 500 difference supposedly comes from the wheel difference in packages so the 2,000 even for the big bend is really 1500 unless they've gotten the larger...
At 2900 miles im at 25.4 mpg overall, for some reason highways 65-75mph I get a severe mileage decrease compared to county highways at 55-60mph up here in NY. City/local I average about 29, 65 mph + Highway is 24-28
360 with the aid enabled on my base seems to do more than nudge off the center line, it actually does my turns for me as well on bends(idk if it's because of the sensitivity I'm on etc.) Now the fun/bad part is sharp turns/tight bends up here in two places where I'm at it jerks the wheel way too...
I have the base, and that's what I did but moved it on the fade/echo car chart right to where the console is in the middle and it cleared it up pretty well
Here you are! I had found it on another thread here. And yeah it's just popping it out/cutting it and then attaching the assembly.

I had found the rear tire hook, I'll look to see if I can find it again. It definitely was not cheap. The 1" lift kit was on there as well prior for the BL/FE on 4WP. Couldn't find the sliders though :(
Looks so sharp with the lift and the tint. I just got the recovery hook assembly for my base ordered, does the nudge bar piggy back off that assembly point at all rendering them useless?
