I did some self-inflicted damage over the weekend, going over a rock on the driver side. Luckily that was while backing out, ie at low speed. Tore up that flimsy underbody cover (not sure what it's called) at about front driver door half point. I had to cut out a small piece of it entirely as wind kept pushing it down towards the ground on the highway. Looks like I also scraped the frame underneath of that cover. Pictures are attached.

I'm hoping somebody could help me identify the part needing replacement. Looks like it'd need to be the entire underbody (felt like) panel. Once the exact part's identified, I assume it's relatively easy to replace it, unless I'm totally off here. I'm just trying to figure out if I could do the replacement myself or take it to the dealer instead.

As far as scrape goes, what would you recommend using to touch it up with?

I'd appreciate any help or feedback. Thanks.

Think that’s just the evap skid. I’d pull the felt off completely or tack it up that way. Don’t need it. The skid just hit it with some rattle can.

Rustoleum the scrape, and remove the skid all together. Unless you really want it there or know you wont be making the same wheeling mistake.

I'd sell it now...it's imperfect and that will possibly affect the audio system and create a rattle while reducing mpg...I kid..I kid.rustoleum probably a good idea on the metal doesn't need to be fancy. Use a word brush to loosen excess paint hanging on, but it looks clean. As for the fabric if it's not an issue, I'd leave it as is

the liner is a simple removal
found I needed to dissect my liner while installing nerf bars
bar support intersected liner
to maintain liner rigidity I used kydex
interesting stuff, kydex
heat it, flopped it into liner, shaped it, let cool
molded to perfect fit
push-pinned in place
if I were in your spot I'd consider sandwiching the liner
materials
2 sheets kydex
heat gun
push-pins

or just use light sheets of aluminum and pop-rivet the sucker

Thanks for all the suggestions. Any ideas what the actual OEM part # is or what it's called?

Any decent rattle-can paint will work fine to prevent corrosion on the exposed metal. Use 220 grit sandpaper to rough up the area a bit. Sand 2 inches or so of the paint surrounding the exposed metal as well. Thoroughly clean and dry, then spray with several light coats. How light? You should be able to see through the first coat. Read the instructions on the can for time between coats.
