    Thanks for responding. Would you mind taking the poll? I think it would be useful to see how common this is. The more I dig into it, the more I want to know exactly why it does this. I am not yet convinced that it shouldn’t be doing this.

    Here is another blurb from the manual. Park selection audible warning. Sounds when you shift into (P). This makes it sound like there should always be an audible warning. Maybe this is a new feature for MY 2024 that works most of the time? Good grief.

    Yes, I have tried that, but only a few times. I do not hear a beep when I shut the vehicle off while it is still in drive. I should also add that I always have auto-start/stop disabled.
