Leave the skinny tires behind…. I put these tires on mine: Goodyear - Assurance WeatherReady 2 - 235/65R18 They work great! And have the Bronco Sport more ground clearance and more off road looks.

you are missing a key component….engineering. Many automakers go after the same suppliers, often times one supplier is building the same kind of components for a bunch of automakers… There are key differences, for example…Toyota has top engineers that design parts that are simple but strict...

again, that's not what the manual says...5W30 is not offered as an alternative at all...did you read it?... unless there's a typo somewhere, like someone indicated, looks like Ford went all in with 0W20... 0W30 is the winter alternative.
