Did you have to remove the cross bars to put in the rubber gaskets? I am waiting on my rubber gasket pieces to arrive. I thought you can just slide these in.

Great info. After reading the recent posts, I noticed that the dealer did not reinstall the rubber strips into the cross bars. Guess I will contact the dealer but probably just have to get a replacement strip. Thanks again for this info!!!
I have a minivan, nissan pathfinder, escape, edge and other SUVs. None of these cars have cross rails and none have any wind noise. I would hope with the cross bars off, the BS would not have wind noise.
Just picked up by BS OB. They had some Yakima Timberlines on it and took them as they discounted the price some. As indicated in other threads, wind noise is prevalent. Since I do not need them now but would like to keep them on, would moving them together or more forward or more back help any...
