Mine has a very week magnet. The charging pad was an option for the 2023 BS. I found it almost useless.

I use the Apple wireless charging pads which I keep in my console. The Apple pad offers the fastest charging. The Ford supplied pad is pure junk. The magnet is too week to hold the phone or center the phone over the charger.
