Done that without any problem as long as you have current tag on back. Cops in GA. have enough to do without stopping you for having out of date out of state tag on front.
Years ago bought a new Explorer, first year of edition. Transmission was a new model also. Within days it malfunctioned. Dealer pulled transmission out of new one on lot and put it in mine. Ready to go next day. They told me Ford wanted all malfunctions sent to them to investigate and stop...
When my dealer installed my hitch (included in purchase) they gave me a new car with three miles on it to drive. Ended up taking three days before I got my BS BB back. Dealer did me right.
No problems with hesitation with my Big Bend with a/c on or any time. No torque steer with 1.5 either. Don't know why people feel 181 horses is too little. My 1976 Rally Sport Camaro had a V8 5 litre that only produced 150 horses and the 350 4 barrel V8 only made 165. Neither had any power...
When starting I have noted it acts like you have parked next to a speed bump and have to power over it. Then I noticed the brake light was on as if I had used the hold feature. Had not so I assume it is some hill hold feature. Brake light goes off after it starts moving.
Sounds like you are coming to grips with what suits you. I like the BB because it fits my life style better than the other that are more off road. A little snow, ice and heavy rain will be my usual adventures, but if I want more it will be there as long as I don't do something stupid.
If you are driving on ten year old tires you have a bigger problem than tire pressure monitors. Your tires are probably dry rotted. Tires are not meant to last that long. They date them so you don't get old tires put on your vehicle.
It won't work because dealers want your trade in when deal is made. Otherwise the value of trade-in could go down. If you give them your trade-in what do you drive till your order comes in?
I agree. I have bought many new cars, but I have never ordered one. Told dealer what I wanted and they located it or close to it at another dealer's lot. One time I went in to have a custom air filter installed and came out with a new truck instead. The dealer didn't make me pay for custom...
Ford used to say their transmissions adapted (learned) to a drivers style. Sounds like they still might. If I pass someone I don't ease into it but I don't poke around either.
My Dealer had no idea what was going on with delay in trailer hitches. So after six weeks I turned to this forum and looked on line at Curt. Showed my dealer and had them order one. I prepaid for hitch when I bought my BS/BB. So they ordered hitch and I insisted they install Ford harness so...
As long as I'm not going to be paying for it for years to come, glad you had a good time. If you got unemployment you got more than I did on SS and had to work.
