The Maverick does not offer navigation at all. I'm rather fond of built-in nav so I got a APIM module off eBay with nav and did a swap, now I have a Maverick with nav, you could do the same for the BS.
And just a further thought, don't settle if you don't have too, you will just regret it. Get exactly what you want even if it means waiting a few months to get it because you will be so much happier for it. How do I know this? Settled for a OBX because I could get it, nice ride but I really...
I don't think any of us can tell you what is right for you. It all comes down to what you are going to use it for. The BB is fine if you are just going to the mall but if you feel like venturing off the road then I would go for the BL. If I was you I'd order a '23 and get exactly what you want...
I've had both, the OBX was nice but I've never regretted getting the BL. If you get the OBX and really what we are saying is the 1.5 if you never drive a BL you won't know what you missed, just don't drive one.
Not much of a hassle at all, I sold 2 cars to Carmax last year, was a breeze, you get the offer, if you like it fill out some paperwork and they hand you a check. The tax thing certainly is something to consider, I would go to Carmax and get an offer before you visit the dealer, you can use that...
I originally bought a modestly equipped OBX, when a loaded BL became available 1.5 months later I sold the OBX to Carmax for $5k more than I paid for it and bought the BL for MSRP. The sale of the OBX literally paid the difference between price of the two.
I totally agree with you which was the point I was trying to make. Comparing the Bronco to the BS is like comparing apples and oranges, yes they are both fruit but very different. The BL is a notch above the other BS's. BS is a capable vehicle but it's more Escape than Bronco. I'm not saying...
I wouldn't disagree with you but owning both the Bronco is the more capable. It really comes down to how you plan on using it. There are things I've done with the Bronco I wouldn't attempt with the BS. The BS is more practical for everyday driving.
I might argue a bit with your analogy. The Ranger and F150 are both trucks built on a truck chassis, the Bronco is built on the Ranger platform and is a truck, the BS is built on the Escape platform and is a SUV. It kind of is apples and oranges. But I would agree buy whichever fits your needs...
Yep, I have. Went from a '21 BS BL to a '21 2dr OBX. Love it. To be fair it kind of fell in my lap, my dealer had a abandoned order and offered it to me for MSRP, how could I say no. I love my Bronco, there isn't a day that I regret buying it. Yes, its gas mileage is nothing to write home about...
Having owned a couple of Subaru's not only do I not like the CVT I'm not a fan of the boxer engine either. I liked the packaging of the cars but after my last Subaru I said "no more".
Ha, a fellow Fiat owner, I had a 79 Fiat Brava, 82 Fiat X1/9 and a 85 Bertone X1/9. My Brava rusted out in no time in Chicago! I do miss the X1/9 but this old body would never be able to get in it anymore.
