  1. No integrated map or navigation...wtf???

The Maverick does not offer navigation at all. I'm rather fond of built-in nav so I got a APIM module off eBay with nav and did a swap, now I have a Maverick with nav, you could do the same for the BS.
  2. Fully loaded Big Bend vs bare bones Badlands?

And just a further thought, don't settle if you don't have too, you will just regret it. Get exactly what you want even if it means waiting a few months to get it because you will be so much happier for it. How do I know this? Settled for a OBX because I could get it, nice ride but I really...
  3. Fully loaded Big Bend vs bare bones Badlands?

I don't think any of us can tell you what is right for you. It all comes down to what you are going to use it for. The BB is fine if you are just going to the mall but if you feel like venturing off the road then I would go for the BL. If I was you I'd order a '23 and get exactly what you want...
  4. 2023 Bronco Sport Order Guide First Look, Introducing Black Diamond Off-Road Package

Nice to see they have finally added memory seats and mirrors, alas a year to late for me.
  5. Outer Banks vs Badlands

I've had both, the OBX was nice but I've never regretted getting the BL. If you get the OBX and really what we are saying is the 1.5 if you never drive a BL you won't know what you missed, just don't drive one.
  6. Badlands Dilemma

Not much of a hassle at all, I sold 2 cars to Carmax last year, was a breeze, you get the offer, if you like it fill out some paperwork and they hand you a check. The tax thing certainly is something to consider, I would go to Carmax and get an offer before you visit the dealer, you can use that...
  7. Badlands Dilemma

I originally bought a modestly equipped OBX, when a loaded BL became available 1.5 months later I sold the OBX to Carmax for $5k more than I paid for it and bought the BL for MSRP. The sale of the OBX literally paid the difference between price of the two.
  8. Moving to Full Size Bronco?

The 2dr is pure, more like the original.
  9. Moving to Full Size Bronco?

I totally agree with you which was the point I was trying to make. Comparing the Bronco to the BS is like comparing apples and oranges, yes they are both fruit but very different. The BL is a notch above the other BS's. BS is a capable vehicle but it's more Escape than Bronco. I'm not saying...
  10. Moving to Full Size Bronco?

I wouldn't disagree with you but owning both the Bronco is the more capable. It really comes down to how you plan on using it. There are things I've done with the Bronco I wouldn't attempt with the BS. The BS is more practical for everyday driving.
  11. Moving to Full Size Bronco?

I might argue a bit with your analogy. The Ranger and F150 are both trucks built on a truck chassis, the Bronco is built on the Ranger platform and is a truck, the BS is built on the Escape platform and is a SUV. It kind of is apples and oranges. But I would agree buy whichever fits your needs...
  12. Moving to Full Size Bronco?

Actually, that would be "Glad to hear you are happy with your Bronco Sport. :) I correct enough people without having to correct Ford. :)
  13. Moving to Full Size Bronco?

Yep, I have. Went from a '21 BS BL to a '21 2dr OBX. Love it. To be fair it kind of fell in my lap, my dealer had a abandoned order and offered it to me for MSRP, how could I say no. I love my Bronco, there isn't a day that I regret buying it. Yes, its gas mileage is nothing to write home about...
  14. Bronco Apple Watch Faces

I updated my watch face, really like it. Great job!
  15. What Ford Sees as Bronco Sport's Competition

And what's amazing is how Subaru markets the boxer engine like it's something special.
  16. What Ford Sees as Bronco Sport's Competition

Having owned a couple of Subaru's not only do I not like the CVT I'm not a fan of the boxer engine either. I liked the packaging of the cars but after my last Subaru I said "no more".
  17. One year Anniversary

Ha, a fellow Fiat owner, I had a 79 Fiat Brava, 82 Fiat X1/9 and a 85 Bertone X1/9. My Brava rusted out in no time in Chicago! I do miss the X1/9 but this old body would never be able to get in it anymore.
  18. One year Anniversary

It's good to hear from people that have had no or minimal issues since we tend to hear from the folks that are having problems.
  19. I finally got my Badlands:

Looks great. White seems to be a rare color for the BS.
  20. Power Liftgate - Does it exist on any BS?

In all fairness the BS is my wife's, I have a Bronco. She actually laments not having a power lift gate like her old CX5.
