Not a defect, then how did this happen? You can clearly see the entire sidewall in the first picture, with no visible damage. This didn't appear until they tried to remove the tire from the rim.
Well wouldn't you know it? I took the tire into the local shop today to get it plugged and back on the road, but when the were breaking the bead, a part of the sidewall split open. They could not see any damage at all on the outside, but the tear is pretty huge.

Technology sure has changed. With the old car, she would drive for miles as the tire deflated, destroying the tire and requiring a full replacement because the old system didn't notify of the falling pressure very well. This system notified her immediately and even alerted my phone on the app...
OMG, this is hilarious! After dealing with a flat tire last night, I was thinking were the heck is the jack and wrench. Boom, it was right there all the time. :)
So, what's up with all the cut outs under the mat surrounding the tire? Some of them look pretty specific and it would be cool to...
This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for the optional full size spare tire. After owning the new Bronco for only a week, my wife found a tire air removal device on the drive home from work last night. It was so nice to pull out a full size matching spare rather than the little donut options we've...

Ha! Will do. The dealer gave us the wrong booklets but sent the correct booklets to us over night. I haven't had the time to go through it just yet. :)
I did a quick search but couldn't find any info on this... Why do some BS grills have a blocked area in the middle (like my Badlands) and some do not? I see them mostly on "First Editions" but I think I've seen them on other models as well.

Yeah, I told her, "no worries, we'll just order one from the parts department later" not knowing that there is a lot more you need to change than just adding a table. :)
I little late to the party, but yesterday we found an Area51 Badlands edition on a lot, just a few short hours away. Thankfully it had nearly everything we wanted except the rear cargo table. Purchased for my wife who's former ride was a 2012 AWD Nissan Rogue. She's loving all the new gadgets...
