You don't need to put it in sport mode. I just start the engine, hit the cancel button, put it in drive every time. It will be off until you start it the next time. If you just like driving in sport all the time, well I can see that would be fun.
It may fit on the platform but the Badlands power train is much different. It is possible the 2.3 EB may be to much power for the power train to handle. I don't know that as fact but I know that the 2.0 can already overheat the power train.
Depends on what you are ordering. If you are ordering a BS with out the associative package BB<OB<BL, or maybe even 360+ you might be able to get one pretty quickly.
I would say you would be lucky to get one by the end of April. I ordered my BL + BL on 7/31/20 and have a production date of 3/1/21. Seeing how they won't even take any orders right now maybe even longer.
It seems to depend on what accessories and packages you choose. My order date was 7/31/20 but my build date is 3/1/21. There have been other badlands getting built with later order dates so there is something to it other than the date you place your order.
My GMC Sierra pickup sound system creates noise to cancel out the bad exhaust noises from the engine when it deactivates cylinders from 8 to 4. I guess this is just the next step.
I understand the new mustang e will make V8 noises in some of the drive modes.
I always use Top Tier fuel stations. I think it is a must with turbo gas engines. You can look up the brands that have Top Tier and their locations at toptiergas.com
There was a post earlier about one of the black pillar covers being scratched and the dealer ordering a replacement. Will be something to check on delivery if that day ever comes.
Thanks for the report. I ordered mine 10 days after you with it looks like the same packages in Iconic Silver, except I have a 3/1/21 build date. I am just down I35 in Iowa, if I see an Alto Blue Badlands when in Minn I will be the one honking at you.
