After lots of driving, a winter, and many many km of gravel, mine were starting to pull away and sag. The dealer cleaned them out and put them back in, but they sag. The guards themselves are in good shape, but they seem to have lost some integrity.
Depends on the tires. I generally leave it in normal because it is just snow. I am running Falken Wildpeak Tail tires which are meh at best in winter and have made some use of the slippery mode in icy conditions, but in general, I use normal.

Plus, we are kitting up for some long trips this summer - this year a run up to James Bay - where we will be living out of the back of the car for a couple of weeks at least. Eventually we are going on a run to the high Arctic which will be a two month haul. Fun!

After much back and forth I think I am settling on the HRG lift once the tires I have wear down. Not sure about the 235 vs 245 debate, but I am leaning towards the bigger ones.

It doesn’t really as it turns out. It has a nine speed transmission with a really low first gear that they call 4Low. It normally starts in second. The awd system is apparently the same system as in the bronco sport.

I think though that the best balance of any engine I have driven is the 1.8l turbo in the Golf 7. It has almost the same torque as the 1.5l ecoboost in the bronco sport, but at 1600rpm. That made it a very responsive vehicle to drive. The vehicle was also...
