Same.. I would have liked to see that DI/PI hybrid in every model motor.. alas.. its only a dream, $$$ above all.
Honestly I would have liked to be buying the 4 Door bronco as well, but its ride quality, interior noise, slightly higher price, and slightly smaller interior room pushed me...
I've seen the Tesla Battery Highlights..
But there is still a few problems with it...
1) Recycling used batteries. Even at the time of replacement or death of a battery.. there is still about 70% of usable lithium left. However with disassembly being a bit dangerous, and recycling non...
I'm in the same boat as @essentialemployee... this is the first car that has met all of my check boxes of wants.
This will be my first Ford, and I am hoping that the drivetrain is tried and true by now with minimal issues.
No doubt there will be first year issues, I just hope they wont leave...
I believe that the 2.0L Ecoboost is Direct injection only.. However there seems to be a few aftermarket systems that can add Port Injection though I am not familiar with it.
Edit: From quick research it looks like the smallest ecoboost with dual injection is the 2.7L
It's a platform... so wouldn't it just need the right mounting to crossbars?
I really know nothing about these though..
So unless you're looking for a direct mount to the stock rails.
I would assume that those will happen after the actual car is released on the market.
the exact reason why I opted to go without the BL package....
With that said.. the Rhino-Rack Pioneer SX platform (60x54") looks to be similar to the Yakima Locknload but weighs only ~48lbs
Mine has order date, order #, and It says in-store order... I never received an email from Ford confirming the order though but the dealer said they pushed it through. Never saw status bar either.
I believe there is normal remote start button as that's part of the BL package, and there looks to be some options/accessories for the remote start fob listed already.
Maybe a test drive like vapour says would put your mind at ease.
Also there are a couple of youtube videos about boosting the 1.5 L Dragon's power output.. the 3 cyl does sound pretty interesting.
Same with me... Hopefully Albert will shine some light.
I'm not particularly in a hurry... Kind of don't want to make the purchase until early 2021 as this year has been particularly unlucky for me (pandemic not withstanding).
@sullivan.mary0228
I too only have the same screen shown as in dealer order. I have not yet received a Ford Email saying the order is confirmed.
@Granger Ford
Does the dealer still need to push the order through? Or are we just waiting for Ford to pull the order into the system?
Thanks
