Alright, something seems off with the recent sighting in Michigan posted above by Admin and the Denver Dealership's mannequin. Is it possible the Michigan sighting is some sort of Frankenstein hybrid? I'm drawn to the bottom cladding of the back bumper in particular. On the Michigan specimen...
Thanks, EE. It is a likely reason that she got mixed up. Thanks for the screenshot. From the literature, it sounds like my mini-Baja excursions are still possible.
While the consensus is that the author has a bias, there was one statement that I found alarming.
It was the first that I read about the speed threshold of the Mud/Sand GOAT modes. I would like to think based on the author's bias that she was misinformed. But 13 mph is rather specific and...
Is that because of the poor drainage on the concrete roads covered in the oil slick of exhaust? My family (sisters, nieces, and nephew) lives in Katy. I loathe Houston.
It certainly would be more realistic than Ford strapping rods over the hood. Any shore fisherman will tell you that they would never carry their rods in such a manner where the tips can be broke. The old tried and true in pvc holders on the bumper will continue instead of Ford's concept.
Perhaps it is the later hour and my eyes aren't as clear. But the green BS wheels are snug in the wells. The orange BS has skinny wheels. And the maroon BS wheels are the compromise of the other two.
Let me say thank you for all your effort put into these. While someone who is proficient in photoshop might feel it isn't much effort, for us lacking PS skills, it is wizardry. So again, thank you. Now, I trimmed your original post of the other images just so I could focus my feedback on the...
I like the Goat idea instead of the wolf. I was going to suggest it earlier, but I thought with my other suggestions that I was pushing it. I don't think anyone would confuse a goat vs. ram. Just find a straight on silhouette of a mean old billy goat. Just don't get the full wrapping horns...
I prefer the green BS with Area51'ish border from 2 pages ago. But with that aside, any of the earth-tones are pleasing. Now to address the elephant in the room - too much lift and too much tread. I do like the beadlock/wheels.
@elmystico - Appreciate the work that you have put into these. In another life, I developed web applications. I could always handle the coding, but any graphics were outsourced. I couldn't photoshop a circle. Anyway, my feedback is the green BS is preferred. The plain donuts for wheels are...
The reason I ask is that I'm a 30 year PADI Instructor. I could load tanks underneath and have gear on top. The gear can get heavy and I hate putting the bags on top of the tanks (without separation). Nothing worse to find that the tanks shifted/rolled in transport only to damage gear in the...
Thanks for the tip. I just checked on the retractable awning and it is $300+ for the Bronco Sport. But when I used the exact part number, it is priced at $250 for a Ford Super Duty truck. If it is the exact part number than it should be the same awning, no?
