I've been averaging about 28.5 mpg in my BS (Heritage trim, so... the 1.5l)
Last fill up i averaged 25.5 mpg - same basic travel and routes.... same grade of gas from the same station... mainly to/from work and a little leisure driving on the usual routes there as well. I really don't drive...
Well.... the recall and infotainment update were handled the day of the CDk cyberattack so, all i have is hand scribbled receipt on some dealer form that notes the recall number and infotainment update were completed - nothing else. I've called a couple of times, as instructed, to request the...
The dealership updated to Version 3.4 when I brought the vehicle in for the recent recall.
The update cleared up the host of infotainment issues noted in my original post but I ended up with the weird quirk mentioned (podcast appears on screen like a phone call) most often occurs when...
So, when i brought my 2023 BS in for the most recent 24S24 recall, the Dealer also had to load the latest version of the infotainment system software as well due to it being really wonky (black screen on occasion, radio controls wouldn't function, rear backup camera remaining on in drive and a...
I've been waiting to see who pulled the trigger first.... Ford with the Ranchero or Chevy with the El Camino... (or as my buddy referred to his "The El Kabongo") I'm guessing this might be a popular option for folks looking for a more car-like experience and sporty look, yet still have a spot...
Just finished a weekend trip to from Southern CT to Bucks County PA and back. I was very impressed with the mileage on my 2023 BS in Heritage trim. Wasn’t expecting these sorts of numbers, even with the vast majority being highway driving at 65mph+
When I fill up and calculate the mileage...
sort of disappointing that your arm/elbow on the window sill produces those results.... i had a feeling this would occur the first week or two of ownership and am very careful about where elbows come to rest. The center console lid is another spot this seems likely, even though different...
Had this same problem. Screen going blank, radio issues, etc…. On my BS with Heritage trim
Took it to the dealer last week for the recent recall (BCM) and had them address the issues infotainment system issues at the same time.
They said it was a software issue. Haven’t had a problem with...
Had the recall work done. Dropped it off on the evening of 6/19 and picked up on 6/20.... so far so good.
Along with the recall, i had them look at my infotainment screen issues (screen went black intermittently and when the screen DID work, the rearview camera would stay on while in drive...
I wasn’t referring to the Trailhawk. It was a Grand Cherokee L (3 row). I was shocked by how smooth and responsive the drivetrain was and how comfortable the interior was. Just struck me as a really nice vehicle.
I understand aftermarket devices are readily available. I’m just saying that, with all the self diagnostic tools and electronics on board, we shouldn’t have to purchase aftermarket. The info is in the computer, simply make it available on the instrument cluster…
I recorded about 21 mpg over the week i was driving it (mainly around town. some highway mileage) in a pretty flat area (Florida). While not great, it's WAY better than the 15 mpg that my wife's Tahoe, with 316k miles on it, is getting. I'm in no hurry to get rid of my BS, unless something...
