OK, we've had a misunderstanding. I sent a note to the tooth fairy to disregard previous. Too hard to keep up with changing meanings of words/phrases. What IS Toe Jam anyway?
78? Whats a 78? 357 I understand, 38+P I understand. Gotta admit a 78 sounds like fun. Do you need a special recoil absorber for it? Gotta look into this!
I agree, not exactly the same, but close. My 21 BL was built 12/20, so maybe minor change in a plastic part? Just trying to give ideas for places to look for missing plastic caps. :)
Looks a lot like this! Don't know what it is, likely AC fill/test valve cover? Located passenger side, under hood, way up front. If needed I can post pictures from further back showing location better.
So, you run over an object on the highway and get a flat. You change to your spare, only to find that it too is flat (but you didn't know that ahead of time because you never check the spare). Most people don't carry an air compressor in the car to pump up the spare.
This does in fact bring up an interesting idea! Most people NEVER check air pressure of their spare tire. It seems that it would be a good idea for car manufacturers to include a TPMS for the spare AND a computer addition for the spare position. That way, everyone would KNOW that their spare...
Where I live, both access roads will be closed by Highway Patrol if it snows. You must install chains to pass, except if you have 4WD or AWD, AND chains with you (but not installed). I keep a set of chains (still in plastic bag) in the back seat storage. They're happy, I'm happy!
If your rails are anything like my Badlands, the cross rails can only be put in one place. The roof rails have holes on the underside for the cross rail mounts. Only 1 set of 4 holes total for the cross rails. :headbang:
By "phones could do it", I suspect you mean "cellphones". Be aware that cellphones appeared just before I retired. Finally, I have a car that does everything for me except, maybe wipe my bum, and I'm not gonna be surprised if it even does that, and I am not gonna deprive it of doin whatever it...
Common Man! According to Webster (He's the old guy that lives next door to me) "IN" is the door right next to the door that says "OUT", and usually is the one on the right of the 2, but not always. Sometimes the same door will say IN on one side and OUT on the other, in which case there is...
No, onboard navigation does not "suck"! Having to use other devices, including phones, is what sucks! I'm old enough to remember fold out maps, and worse yet, stopping at a gas station to check the map on their wall. I will never again use a GPS (Garmin), phone app, map book, or 3rd party...
