Does anyone have any suggestions to keep the black plastic exterior trims from looking 10 years old? They are always faded and soiled. I have tried ArmorAll, plastic treatment, waxes and McGuires ceramic wax. They always look so dingy.
I had the Gen 1 engine which did not have many of the improvements of the later ones, such as port injection. If a catch can doesn't do any good, then why is Ford putting factory versions on their engines? My 23 Bronco Sport has a Ford Catch can/ Separator.
That's not true. My previous 3.5l Ecoboost had a UPR Catch can. You wouldn't believe the gunk that kept out of the engine. Literally gallons over the years.
There is a lot more to consider than tongue weight. You have to have 10 to 15% of the trailer weight on the hitch. So a 400 pound tongue weight puts your trailer over 4000 pounds. Way over limit. You also have to stay within the GCWR of trailer and truck, within the GVWR of your truck and under...
I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but in reality there are few if any Bronco Sports rated to tow 2000 lbs. This is our data from our 23 Big Bend:
GVWR is 4630.
Curb Weight is 3587, weighed.
Cargo Capacity 1043.
GCWR of trailer and BS is 5860.
Our loaded BS is 4137, weighed, two adults and 200...
All I ever heard was they modified the head to remove a cross cut and added a hole for coolant to pass between the cylinders. The old design left little surface for the head gasket to seal and coolant intruded into the cylinders. I was under the impression that all 2023's are updated.
