We lose the cool rear under-seat storage as well. Add the outdated Sync 3 (while big brother gets sync 4 and huge screen), and combined MPG around 21... Not worth the $40k plus tax price tag. I'm aiming to get 4 door outer banks in the low $40s. I think some of us also assumed or hoped that the...
The baby brother should be a good compromise with off road ability and daily driver. It loses mpg for its awd prowess, but this is a small suv. So, if I really want a bad ass off roader, ill take the big brother. Hence there's gotta be some kind of compromise. For me, the fact that the FE...
A loss of 360 plus as well as the cool under the seat storage all packaged together for a car averaging 22 mpg is insane. I might just go with the awd 2021 rav4 prime. Can get that cheaper than my FE.
Damn, not loving that MPG at all. If the bigger brother 4 door is pulling the same of better mpg, I'll jump shit to the big OuterBanks. A lucky person will get to snag the sport FE.
Looks like many of us with Cyber Orange FE are set for Feb 8. Funny, I had put the tent down on the reservation, but when it came to ordering it dropped. I didn't fight it, kind of glad that got dropped because I'm digging the roof top tents more.
Which blows. My dealer never reached out. And when I go in contact with them, they always said they were waiting to hear what to do from Ford.... I kept at it until they found someone to help. Got my order in mid October, finally, and just got build date for first week fo February.
Plus side...
I ran the OuterBanks again, taking away sasquatch, and went with 2.7 and high package (that 12" screen blows the base away). Added Aux switches and Tow. I hit $48k. So still 7-8k above the FE sport.
Big Bends seems like the more comparable back up
You have any links? So far, I've been happy with the orange. I had changed from Area 51. For the Area 51, many of the pictures showed it washed out, and when photos did appear to make it have a deeper blue, the photos were clearly edited to boost the blue.
Oh, and here's my order summary...
If the FE is 26 Highway, I can't rationalize over $40k for it. If that's the case, I'll revert my search back to hybrid rav4, or maybe check my luxury options. Can probably get some loaded ass entry lvl german luxury for $40k
