Good advice!
Removable cargo mat is a nice feature, along with rubber floor liners. I guess I could store the carpet mats in my garage but I just left them in the car under the removable cargo mat.
Seriously, if someone wanted to save some bucks, dropping the Outerbanks trim model and picking...
We didn't live far north enough to need an engine block heater, but we would start the cars at night, let them run for 10-15 minutes, turn them off and then put a blanket over the engine to keep it insulated until early morning. Car defrosters didn't work very well either. Modern vehicle...
I believe Outerbanks/Badlands have a larger screen so the gauges had to be reconfigured to accommodate the screen size.
Some other post on the forum had a line of sight issue with the visor blocking out view through the windshield. Again, I think this related to the height of the driver...
We've been using the keypad security code on our Mountaineer and Expedition for years. No problem at all. I'm sure I will use it on the BS as well. It's a great feature that I use whenever I'm out running by myself. I haven't looped the key through my shoelaces in a long, long time!
As much time as I had waiting for my order delivery, I opted to stay middle of the road with my BB order. The bigger engine and signature headlights would be nice, but I didn't want the leather seats and there truly is no reason for dual control AC in such a small vehicle. My plan is to wait...
I'm not sure what triggered the powertrain indicator light last night. This morning I noticed a FordPass message notification regarding Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power with a date/time stamp of when it occurred. I guess the positive thing is the FordPass tracking app gives us a running...
When I started my BS BB tonight, the amber wrench indicator light came on, and an information message popped up Service vehicle soon. I pressed OK to clear the message. As I drove home, the wrench light stayed on and the message continued to pop up after each time I cleared it. I checked the...
Thanks for the info on this subject.
I took delivery of my BS BB (ordered in Dec) 1 month ago. I checked earlier this week. Yep, missing panel under the dash. I stopped by the dealership today, showed them, and there was a discussion that the '21s had them but the '22s didn't. They checked a...
I test drove a black BS base model. I thought the white letters were too stark contrast on the black color. I saw an A51 on the lot when we got back from the test drive. I thought the A51 color was awesome. I really liked the matte color as a change of pace from standard metallic clear coat...
BS BB with convenience pkg and various other options.
$1000 order rebate + $500 military discount = $1500 under MSRP.
rebate/discount basically paid for my moonroof and tow pkg.
I've taken my BS BB on a 3hr drive on an interstate 4x over last two weeks. No problems with engine, transmission, etc. 30mpg on highway. The lane centering, copilot assist, adaptive cruise control functions all work well.
It all depends on the dealership's business model policies. MSRP is acronym for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. The dealership doesn't have to abide by this price amount. Some do, some don't. It all boils down to what the individual buyer wants to accept as best purchase price. I...
