Your issues do not sound like a bad APIM. I would not waste your money by replacing the APIM.

There is not a recall for fuel injector crack risk. There is a recall to install a drain hose and reprogram the PCM. All parts for this recall must be ordered by the dealer for the specific VIN. Dealers are not allowed to keep this in stock. Contact your dealer.

What build number of Sync? 22251? Current version of iOS is 16.6 You might try updating your iPhone. Sync 4 is a different hardware system. You are using a Sync 3 system.

What version of Sync are you running? What is the iOS version you currently have installed on your iPhone? What brand is the USB cable you are utilizing in your vehicle? Are you plugging in the USB cable in the area underneath the climate controls? Are you using the USB-A or USB-C port?

Do you have an aftermarket tint on that window? The tint may be creating a tight bind causing the window to reverse.
