I would check out my thread. It does sound like the 4wd module. You might even have a voltage issue. in my web searches on this subject I did see online that Ford did accept the warranty on this as part of the drive train for some owners, but I think you might need to do some legwork
Well it was the 4wd module as correctly assessed by @rugedraw. 600+ part, 900+ labor. Unfortunately I was 3k out of warranty and even though I am under time of warranty. While the dealer said they couldn't do a courtesy warranty repair. @Ford G_d bless them did offer assistance. I'm not sure...
nope did the battery recall several months ago
have seen online that Ford customer care had stepped in a few times on this issue. The is my 4th Ford. Been driving then for over 25 years so maybe loyalty will mean something
2021 broncosport badlands
I tried perusing the forums for this issue and forgive me if this has been covered. I am. At 63k miles ( of course right outside the warranty window)and this evening on the way home from work I got a million messages from the bronco. Essentially everything except for...
LikeI said clearance, clearance, clearance. Good spotters will protect you, but sometimes these things will happen. c'mon Ford, just an inch or 2 more clearance and 265s without trimming. Pretty please?
Put new meats on last year. This was the first time I was able to take this thing off-road. The Bronco did great. I honestly felt the only limitation was clearance. For those of you familiar with Cleghorn you'll notice the lack of pics of the Bronco on the obstacles beneath the power tower. If...
Congratulations on your new Bronco! First advice I would give you is to get a nice set of shoes for that Bronco. You can go up to 245 without lift or modification. Tires make a huge difference in any camping adventure. Second thought is when you are off road always be mindful of clearance. The...
This is the only decent Pic I have of the BL. I just put 245s on it and am ready to finally go off roading. I haven't been off road since I sold the best expedition ever to get an f150, then covid hit and truck and expos became almost as expensive as houses. I plan to lift this 2" and hopefully...
After months of thinking and putting off and bargain hunting. I got new meats for the BL, 245/65s. I was going to go with the pirelli Scorpion at+, but with the factory scorpion atr I was super disappointed. Brand new when I got the car they are down to the warning tread at less than 30k, all 4...
Makes sense. Structural issues for this can be easily fixed in future production models. Or an aftermarket bumper with a riser to support the swing out.
America F'YEAH! Thank you for your service sir. And go AF lacrosse! This is in response to @BroncMan. Americans make a show of national pride. Not just for sports or Olympic events. We show national pride everywhere we can. There's nothing wrong or tacky about it. If you don't care enough about...
