I second this. I have been dealing directly with my dealerships inventory manager the whole time. I don't even know yet who is actually going to sell the car to me but the inventory manager has been more than helpful at my dealer.

order date was 8/13. I don't remember my reservation date off hand but was sometime in July.

I am also a March 1st build date for a BL+BL in Area 51. I am not sure why I have to wait so long as I see others with the same specs have much earlier dates.

I actually asked my dealer that exact question. He said from his experience it generally takes 3-4 weeks from build to deliver to the dealership. He said that was just a best estimate but from other builds they are doing of other current vehicles that is the timeline they are seeing.

Got my build date this morning of March 1 2021!!! Ordered 8/13, BL+BL Area 51 with tow package, cargo management, off road tires but normal wheels, co-pilot 360 and cargo mat.

Talked to my dealer today and he said "Looks like your order is previewing to be scheduled this week." I think that means that next week I should know when my order will be built. I am getting BL + BL and I ordered 8/13 so I'm excited to see when my build date is actually going to be.

Geez those pics of the Area 51 interior make me wish even more it was an option with the badlands package

I would like the option if possible. I frequently go between my house, my parents house and my brothers house so I have 3 garage door openers in my car. My mom's Edge has a UGDO and it is super nice to not have all the clutter or confusion of which remote is which.

The reservation is transferable by calling Ford. They allow you to do it one time. I had to move mine as well. Keep in mind though once it gets converted to an order you can not change.
