My partner and I both had Ford Escapes, a 2006 and a 2009, we were looking for a direct replacement to that class of vehicle and the new escape was a radical departure from the true SUV design. Seeing the early discussions on the Bronco Sport as the true replacement for the legacy Escape, we had...
Check out Nokian One tire, 60k tread warranty and best wet condition tire I've ever had, smooth and quiet. It's the only brand I use now and for the last 15 years.
Honestly, stop with the critical systems integration and give me tactile controls back. In my opinion, the screen is a safety issue for other than navigation and I would prefer to have physical control that I don't have to look at to activate. HVAC, defrost, temperature, should never be in the...
True enough Curt, not a "Safety" issue and after the TSB and the recall fix, I haven't had any issues with the rear brake moan recurring and I am in a cold climate winter and high humidity summer region.
That truly sounds like another dealer issue, perhaps see if the dealer has performed the required NHTSA Recall: https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=21V922000
I would escalate that Kevin, you should have a discussion with the service manager and/or the regional manager regarding the warranty issue. I can't see, unless there are extenuating circumstances, that Ford would balk on something as close to the limit as that.
'22 Big Bend just passed 99 000km (61k miles) other than the recalls and standard maintenance, no issues at all. Love the truck and so far total maintenance over the almost 3 years we've had it is $1444.47 including taxes - This include regular oil changes, wiper blades, cabin filters etc.
The...
Good Morning everyone.
I have scanned through a few threads and I am looking for anyone who has found a solution for a rear fog light(s) for the Sport.
I have seen some of the replacements for the rear bumper reflectors however I cannot have a smoked lens (illegal here). The unit also must be...
The '22 BB is the daily commuter and general all purpose vehicle and this is is the project vehicle for restoration and fun! Basic plain Jane 2006 F150 XL, 4.2L V6 with 5 Speed manual tranny, and crank windows! Work so far: resorted to factory height (was lowered and had bottomed out alot!)...
I had a similar incident with the same screw after a few months with my BB, never could find where it went and neither could the dealer, 95 000+km later...it hasn't fallen apart!
Just an observation; have you confirmed the rail or your mount is properly grounded? Otherwise you risk high SWR and may damage the radio unless the antenna is a half-wave and ground independent
Just had a spat of very cold temps -39c (-38f) and mine sat for 4 days, started and charging just fine @ 13.9 after a high of 14.8 after start. Cranking voltage will typically drop into those ranges and should recover quickly. Mine has been much better since the upgrade.
