mid year increases are usually really small, $200….not 2k…we will see another increase for sure though. Prolly another $2k.
we will also see increases across the line up…
but apparently building your car in the UK gets you into the US market tariff free - who gets that? ????
too bad the “free speech” administration would consider a “political” attack to list these in the window sticker…
Amazon was determined to do add…and honestly it’s the right thing to do.
as a customer you want to know if you are paying tariffs on which vehicles and by how much….
we don’t know how common or uncommon issues show up, it’s simple math - for every 10 BS sales, 9 are 1.5 and 1 is 2.0…the difference is so startling that your odds of hearing about issues in the 2.0 are very slim…
You are talking about the “execution” of plan that took 3 years ????
yeah it was done in 8 weeks but you cannot discard all the planning, designing, ordering tooling (that came from Mexico and China) and everything that was aligned before they got to “execute” this plan.
you really make it...
this is a good move by Ford - their inventory levels are above the industry average and several of their models are pilling up in dealer lots…when that 25% tariff hit, I am not sure what will happen to them.
This was an article I never thought I’d read in my lifetime:
https://www.reuters.com/world/china-japan-south-korea-will-jointly-respond-us-tariffs-chinese-state-media-says-2025-03-31/?utm_source=reddit.com
I know but I mean…tons of other sources explaining the real cost, but nothing on Fox in recent times…it’s like the topic is being avoided all together there ???
that was…a long time ago…February 25! Looks like a video, not even close to be on the main page where I shop - so old stuff…anything from a couple days ago with detailed analysis on impacts - now that the tariffs seem more clear?
like this one: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgrgj51gl25o
just stating what I’ve seen - there hasn’t been much talk in that channel about the impacts of tariffs to the average Joe
…I try to keep myself informed so always checking news site all the way from CNN to Fox News, Infowars…
in this context, are you OK with imported parts? 100% of all US assembled vehicles have between 30% to 80% content that is imported. Imported parts will also be subject to tariffs…
with this info in mind, how would you go about choosing a car? Also keep in mind, over 80% of replacement parts...
