Yeah OP just started this thread to trash the Dragon engine, I am not sure why given itās a new oneā¦will be tough to find out the EcoBomb is the one that actually may develop more issuesā¦
But agreed trucks are starting to pile up and sales are slowing down across the board. Things will get...
Yep the jury is still tots out on the Dragonā¦we donāt have enough data to determine either way yet.
But kinda disagree on the Ecoboost 2.0 - lots of data and problems out there, I know this is a revised version but 2017 also had a revised version of it but coolant intrusion continued to be an...
My 21 Escape suffered from the exactly same issueā¦just saying! Took a few years and several lawsuits for Ford to issue a recall for the 16-19 models, I am expecting to join a class action in the next year for the 21-23 modelsā¦already contacted a law firm that has a few folks!
oh yeah, easy to find these things onlineā¦

I can keep goingā¦
my 2021 Escape 2.0 needed a new block right when it hit 45k because of coolant intrusionā¦.I am one, there are thousands of people out there and Ford has a lot of TSBs covering these well known issues with the 2.0ā¦
I just wanted to sayā¦the 2.0T have a lot of documented issues and these are very common:
Coolant Intrusion
Cracked Exhaust Manifold
Turbo/Boost Control Solenoid Failure
Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Failure (LPFP)
Carbon Build-up
Some of these are starting to pop right back upā¦so for some of you out...
āā¦EB 2.0L that improved the couple of relatively rare reliability issues they hadā¦ā
those EB engines are prone to coolant intrusion, tons of lawsuits going around. Highly doubt they fixed thisā¦people will find out in 3-4 years.
