I got my dealer to upgrade to the AT tire option; but, they wouldn't commit to the brand/model. How many have NOT gotten the Wildpeak's with the upgraded $525 AT tire option? I have to say, I'd disappointed to get some crusty AT tires from another Company. Thanks!
I thought about that. I still might. But, I'd want to know what size they are putting on, too. I am guessing it's going to end up a hassle and not something my dealer will want to deal with...
Thanks! I also just looked and the speedo error is almost 5mph off. Thinking 235/65/17 might be the way to go. If I push the tire to the fender, it will accomplish what I am trying to do anyway. Speed error, with that size, appears to be just over 1mph off - no big deal.
So, is it a 20mm...
I am about to take delivery of a 2024 Badlands. I did NOT buy the upgraded tires. I would like to keep the suspension the same, but add spacers that push the wheels to the fenders - maybe just a tick outside.
It sound like a 25mm spacer will accomplish this? What size tire can I then put...
I did not upgrade. It was $525 and I wasn't really tuned into it then. Now, I would like to add slightly wider/taller tires and some spacers to push the tire about flush with the wheel well.
I ordered a 2024 Badlands and did NOT opt for the off road tires. Ford's website shows I will get 225/65/17 ALL-TERRAIN (A/T) tires. Anyone know what kind/model they are?
Thanks!
Good to hear it's a cooled unit on this platform. I think I will still change the fluid every 30k. I plan to drive mine to 180-200k, so will be doing all I can to preserve it. I do hope they sorted the 2.0 coolant intrusion issues, too...?
Checked with Steeda and Eibach. Neither have a product and both confirmed the Mavrick application will not fit. But, Eibach said they are looking into making something for the future.
I just placed an order for my 2024 Badlands. 4-7 month wait - wow. So, father time is on my side...at least...
I have dealt with Ford's PTU's in Edge's and Explorers that I've owned. In those models, I would do a drain/fill every 30k as they had little fluid in them and sat right next to the cat converter and just baked to death. I assume it's a similar situation on this platform?
