When was it built? If 5.3 puts you mind range on the dipstick then you should be good. When you change your oil, check if the pan is metal or plastic. If metal I’m confident it takes 5.3 quarts if it’s plastic then it likely takes a different amount

They are 100% using a plastic oil pans on all 1.5L made after mid August 22. These are also used on the f150s and other models as well.

I should have done that. I’ll see if I have time to tonight. Sucks having to take all the screws out so you can remove the splash guard

So, sounds like all yours take the 5.3 quarts stayed in the manual. Are any of your oil pans the plastic composite material? Or steel?
