I thought you ordered a 2023 a few days ago, and just received your first email. Maybe finding one that's close to your specs on a lot might be the way to go. Either way good luck on the search for the next vehicle.

You're going to see cars move down the line that have been built much later than yours. The factory is going to send them down the line in order that they receive the proper chips that are coded to the specific VIN. Your chip may not be ready yet. Nothing to do now but wait.

I wouldn't worry about yours too much, Ford is building and shipping BS with the same level trim and options as ours after ours were held with a chip shortage. Probably some issue with the modules coded for our VINs didn't arrive or something.

It is definitely frustrating having to wait, but if I were in your situation I might just have to tell Ford to shove it. I mean you reasonably NEED the car before the winter. It looks less and less likely that this will happen. Down here Jeeps are readily available and will do what the BS will...
