You are absolutely correct. My mileage on the highway with two bikes mounted isnāt any better than in town without. I lose about 6 mpg with bikes mounted doing 75mph.
Unfortunately, the difference for us where I live is about 1.50 usd so Iād just be throwing good money away for extra performance I donāt really need. Not sure why you think itās better for the engine unless your 91 octane is tier one and your 87 octane isnāt. The higher octane rating isnāt...
The Ford ECO boost engines are one of the few engines that will run fine on 87 but will see improved performance running on 91. Iāve always found the improved performance was normally worse as far as gas mileage. Iām sure it had nothing to do with the loose nut behind the wheel and the...
Iām surprised your mileage goes down off road. I get my best gas mileage off road. Same with the full size on 35ās. I can get lower 20ās off road with that. On road at highway speeds, not so much. Bricks donāt make good fuel efficient vehicles.
I had to look up a build. At 48k, itās not much more than a fully equipped Sport. Itās hard to believe my 1995 Lightning had a sticker price of 19K and my 22 BSBL had a sticker around 36k or so. Pretty crazy that destination charges for a F150 is 2.6K. Does bring back good memories. The...
There was a time 40 years ago where a couple of friends and I were on a Weiss beer kick. Weād go to this old German bar and drink Hacker-pschorr Weiss beer and eat fresh hot pretzels. I had a Weiss beer more recently and wasnāt too impressed. Not sure if my tastes changed or it just wasnāt a...
Flood is another good one as is Ziegler. Those three are the best as far as I know. Iām partial to Granger but I know the other two have good prices as well.
Iāll have to check mine with it plugged in. I use a wireless adapter and have no issues switching back and forth although admittedly, I normally just leave it on CarPay as default.
I can see where access to modify could go away being an issue but then, for me itās a non-issue. Other than...
Whatās the big draw to Sync 4? Iāve got Sync 4 in the full size and Sync 3 in the Sport. For my use case, they act the same other than I need a wireless adapter for the Sport. I would like to replace the HVAC control with a 21 or 23 as they had the temperature displayed. Thats about 100.00...
The app works so much better than the browser version. I wasnāt visiting or commenting very often for a while as it was so painfully slow. They fixed it for a short period when it was down but that didnāt last long. Hopefully the app doesnāt end up the same.
They are a great dealer. Iāve purchased both my Sport and 2 Door Heritage through them along with ESP for both. Itās hard to believe itās coming up on 5 years with dealing with them.
Thereās a little height gained with the 35ās over the 33ās but itās not a full inch as neither are actual size. There is also a slight height increase with the Sasquatch package. I had originally reserved a Base with Sasquatch and MT transmission as well but like you saw, they didnāt offer the...
Good luck. Enjoy the full size. I love mine, especially the 7 sp MT. Maybe we will see you on the 6G site. My full size is getting ready for winter storage. It wonāt see pavement for nearly 6 months. :( Youāll have the benefit to drive yours year round and now itās just getting into good...
I expect itās the same but like you, my experience is only with my 22. Iāve never measured the delay time but I know it shuts off. The fact this thing seems to stay alive for so long after you drive it, no wonder there were battery issues. That being said, I never had the battery failure but...
I have the Ford mud flaps and have had no issues. I suppose if you try and take it āRocksā crawling they could be an issue but then that might be the least of your worries. š
