Just an FYI for everyone planning on using X-plan. Check to see the doc fee totals dealerships are allowed to charge you. It is capped in some states.
For Texas it's $150. Here is a site confirming the amount.
After researching the above I went ahead and created my PIN for my X-Plan purchase...
So looking at 235/65 options for 17"s. Looks like it will cost between $500 and $1000 depending on the brand. Those Falken Wildpeaks are looking like good options at just above $500
Yeah, Deposits I sort of understand because if you back out the dealership is on the hook but at the same time, they then get "a pre-allocated" amount before there normal inventory and that should help them. Doesn't make sense...
My dealer was very fast when it came to converting the reservation to an order. I reserved on the 15th of July and converted to order 2 days later after confirming reservation details. Sorry to hear everyone’s having trouble with theirs.
I’m planning on using the $500 as a loan with interest to the dealership. Not sure if it will work but I could have made money on investing it by the time I get the bronco.
So after looking at each one carefully (each concept) it appears the 31"s fit without the lift. Per the description on the Patrol concept. It has the 31”s with no lift.
My thoughts exactly! This is going to be the wife's daily, I would hate for the MPG or ride quality to be worse just cuz I want it to look fierce :crackup:
All valid observations, That's why I skipped on the FE and went with Badlands. I saw more value in the aftermarket goodies more than making up any differences the FE had over the Badlands.
