Joker Welding & Fabrication, LLC. in Lebanon, MO. told me that he can fabricate anything you want as long as you can afford it. I asked him about additional skid plates and tubular rock rails/sliders and he said none of that would be a problem. I'm sure any local custom welding and fabrication...
It sucks brother. I just downloaded the update to a flash drive and installed it manually. Good luck trying to verify the update through the Ford Owner website using the XML file that is supposed to show up though, because it doesn't show up. I just logged the SYNC 3 update on my FordPass App.
I haven't quite gotten that far yet. I will probably load the update on my external HD this time around and update the BL via USB, then try to get Fidelity to look into it first. I also activated the trial 3gb wifi Hotspot on FordPass but there is nothing on my SYNC 3 about my hotspot either.
You can do the 245/65r17s without a lift but there have still been a handful of claims that they will rub at full lock on the 3 lower trims (I can't substantiate those claims because there haven't been any pics of the rubbing). On a BL or FE, they fit all day long because of the .75" longer lift...
So an issue I've had since bringing my BS BL home isn't that SYNC 3 can/cannot find my home wifi, but it won't connect to it. I put in my password over and over and it just won't connect and gives me the message, "Unable to connect to wifi." Any ideas because I really need to be able to install...
Yeah I want to do that but really don't want to scratch the paint all to heck. I've heard to use dental floss to run through the adhesive and then use goo gone and then I've also heard to use a hair dryer. Which method is best?
Some updated pics with my new window decals, cyber orange lettering, and my new personalized plates. I have the Thule HD crossbars ordered from my dealership and a MaxxHaul basket on its way that I will be sealing and bedlining to weatherproof it. I'm will also be lifting and putting bigger...
The Thule HD crossbars are relatively low-profile and they can be found on Ford's accessory website for the Bronco and Bronco sport to order. The load is 160 lbs. Also, you can use your points from purchasing the Bronco Sport to purchase accessories rather than using them on service...
That is really odd and to be honest, I've never heard or seen anywhere do that before. I wonder how well that removes all of the old oil. I would have been like, "What kind of sorcery is this?!?!"
I always use Valvoline Full Synthetic 5w-30 at our Valvoline Express Care in Lebanon, MO. I drive in and never have to leave my vehicle. I'm in and out and 10 minutes and they are full service. They will replace air filter if dirty, fill washer fluid, clean my windshield, rotate the tires, etc...
This right here. If you keep a good wash schedule, you really won't have to worry about rust. When it is snowy or icy here, I wash my vehicles twice a week.
Though they may not not be necessary, you drive a AWD/4WD SUV, so I say get a severe winter and snow rated All-Terrain like a BFG T/A K02 or a Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. Plus, living in North-East USA, a snow rated tire just seems like common sense to me. And if it's common sense to have a 3-peak...
Just a quick question; Do you think the 32s leave enough suspension travel to perform in off-road situations such as Colorado trail running or would you stick with the 31s? This is from a Badlands owner by the way. Also, do you have any intention of fabricating some rock sliders and skid plates...
I have Cyber Orange letters on the front and back to match my Badlands badging. You can order vinyl overlays from Etsy. It's really simple to do, just follow the provided instructions.
Absolutely, I will reach out to you! I will also try to record the experience and upload to the forum. I'd love to get the Jeep Badge of Honor and stick it on my Bronco afterwards, lol.
This is awesome brother! My wife and I may be attempting Black Bear Pass in about a month. After we get the lift and the 245/70R17s on it, I may have one of my fabrication buddies build me some powder-coated sliders and some additional skid plates to protect that pesky EVAP sensor people have...
I know right. My wife and I left from the county fair truck and tractor pulls early that night because we saw that storm system moving in. On our way back home through town, there was this wide open and empty parking lot on the right-hand side. My wife looked at me and said, "If you want some...
