I am having to relearn how to park. My '15 Escape Titanium had (which I traded for my BS OB) and my '19 Ranger has front sensors, which help me park whether in a lot, on the street or my garage. Sensors or a camera would be a nice addition.
My '19 Ranger came with a mix of bulbs. The Lariat pkg (which I have) was the only trim level that came with some LEDs- head, fog & tail lights and the interior. The remainder were incandescent. You would have thought that with the 19MY being the launch of the 5G of the Ranger, the lighting...
I have had good results with TW ICE synthetic polish. It can be used on all the exterior surfaces and gives a mirror shine. I believe that they are phasing out the ICE line for the ceramic. Once I run through my ICE stash, I will switch to the ceramic after seeing this post.
My '15 Escape has the same door sill set up. I never gave a thought about putting any kind of protection on them. I just traded it for my BS and they look like the day I picked it up 7 years ago. However, because of a thread on Ranger5G.com, I do have sill protectors on my '19 Ranger. I made...
Just picked up my MY22 OB last night. I am glad I waited for this to be available on the OB. I have a Saber (more copper) '19 Ranger and wished I could have gotten that, but CO is just as cool.
Thanks for the pictures. I prefer the in-channel visors, but they are not available yet. I had to wait a year for in-channel ones for my '19 Ranger. After seeing your pictures, I think these would be ok if I choose not to wait that long this time.
I have ACC on my '19 Ranger CC Lariat. I love it. The truck slows gradually enough that some times I don't even realize it. When I throttles up, it is gradual as well. I am looking forward to having on the BS as the '15 Escape Titanium it replacing didn't have it.
Woo-hoo! My BS was delivered to the dealership today. Pending any issues, I can pick it up Monday afternoon.
Recap: ordered 9/10, confirmed 9/14, scheduled build week 11/8, build pushed to 12/7, shipped12/10, at dealership 1/7.
Best wishes to those still waiting ✋
Congrats on starting a new chapter and for this first hand, real world account of the BS's capabilities. UI am sure you're not missing the brutal wind chills we are currently experiencing here in the Quad Cities (western IL/eastern IA) after the new year's day snow storm.
LEDs aren't the entire cause of this. I had intermittent issues like this with this same factory UGDO in my '15 Escape Titanium and I don't have LEDs in my opener. It was mainly with the larger door. Sometimes when this would happen, I would use it to open/close the other door and then it...
Order tracker wasn't working for me yesterday, so I just tried again. ETA was changed from 1/6 to 1/9 (33 days after build). 1/9 is Sunday, so that means, if it shows, that no one will be there to make sure nothing happens when it is taken off the truck. So close and yet so far. I know that I...
Yeah I know. I was hoping that since it is so close, that it would come sooner. My dad bought a new vehicle from the same dealership and is getting Thurs and I was hoping that I could ride with him.
Congrats, I am so jelly. Mine was built 12/7, shipped 12/10, arrived in Chicago Heights IL 12/21. Order tracker says ETA is 1/6. Train ride of 1,770 miles took 11 days, truck ride of 150 miles 15 days!?
That is one of two things that I will miss about my '15 Escape that the BS is replacing. The other is the hands free lift gate (this one I am really going to miss).
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but the train might be delayed by the winter storm that is happening in the midwest today. The warnings for this winter storm stretch from the Four Corners Region to Lake Michigan. It started last night with sleet or freezing fog and turned to snow this...
Checked with my dealer today, and my MY22 OBX is on the ground at the UP rail yard in Chicago Heights IL. It has been there since 12/21. It is just waiting for a truck to take it the 2.5 hours west to my dealer.
We have big snow storm coming Sat (4-7") and with my luck, it will be dropped at...
