Interesting. I am about to do my Bronco Sport and I hope I don't run into the problem. I don't believe Forscan has the EPB service mode option yet but will update and see. Did you just compress the pistons back into the caliper or do they need to be turned back in?
I have an open aluminum 6x10, I would think a lot lighter than yours. With about 750 pounds in the back I get between 9.5 & 10 L/100km (23-25 mpg US). That's pretty much all highway driving.
No, that is what it is for but I was curious that if there was a repetitive starter draw in the battery and the alternator couldn't keep up if it might contribute to the issue.
Mine used to do something similar but it was the cylinder deactivation system. Going slow, cruising, no load it would deactivate a cylinder and it would go away if you moved the gas pedal slightly in either direction. Had the fuel injector recall done lately, they reflashed the PCM and the...
That is a catalyst efficiency code which is usually indicated when sensor 2, after the converter, starts switching. It should be a relatively steady signal if the converter is working properly. Would be worth it, if possible, to have somebody with a scan tool that can graph sensor operation to...
That truly sucks. The only 8F35 I've seen let go internally like that was a 22 Transit that was used as a work truck, lots of towing miles for the year. Similar symptoms, it was a wreck inside. Internal filter and small clearances for the valves in the valve body. Keep that fluid clean...
Fix it immediately. You don't want it to develop into a crack and a windshield replacement as that involves recalibration of your camera and it can get expensive fast if insurance doesn't cover it.
Don't know why but that is what was installed on my '21 from the factory, even when the Ford manual calls for the 910S. Must have saved 50 cents or something.
I have been tracking this down and have isolated the issue to this. Low load condition, low speed, low RPM, torque converter is locked up and it is in a reasonably high gear, 5th. So basically you have a two cylinder engine propelling your car at low speed in a higher gear. Perfectly normal...
