HHmmm, Bronco related? Well, if anybody asks me...
1) Air compressor-- our trail guide at Off Roadeo likes DeWalt, I have a friend who uses VIAIR for his business.
2) Shovel-- long handle are supposed to be better, I think folding for the storage space issue
3) Recovery boards
If I get...
My Badlands has the Wildpeaks, and that's all I had experience with until I went to Off Rodeo. The 'fleet' Badlands at Off Roadeo have the Scorpions and I gotta say they were completely capable on class 2 and class 3 roads. Can't speak for them on wet/cold/snow and wear.
I got a white (metal, not sticker or vinyl) emblem to match the lettering on the liftgate--my Badlands is Shadow Black so a white emblem was a no-brainer. If you want a black Bronco this is the black version of the item I got from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B7XFWPLB?th=1
...need a URL for the lights...
Heh, heh, my kid is always showing off her XMas decorations on her Wrangler*, this year I may have some counter-programming.
*she bought the Jeep (used) in 2020 before any Broncos were released into the wild, not to mention she doesn't have the $$$ to buy a new...
Just an FYI, for you and potential other purchasers of the bumper guard-- I have the same guard and the double sided sticky tape was coming loose after about 2 months. To fix it I ended up adding LOADs more sticky tape to get it back down. Like adding 2x or 3x the amount of tape that was there...
1) Have you ever thought about doing a wrap for the gas tank filler door? I've seen replacement doors, but I think a wrap for the door would be cheaper and easier way to add a small personalized accent.
2) I was looking at your site, and I saw some interesting stuff, like the hash mark...
Ha ha. Maybe so, but my delicate rear end starts cramping up from the seats, so it's not big deal making a quick stop to walk around for a bit.
As far as 'cup of coffee or a water bottle,' I go with both. Yeti Rambler free swag from Off Roadeo in one slot, Fellow Carter Move mug in the other...
Barely 5 months owning it, just about 8000 miles. 3 road trips over 1,000 miles each. If we go out around town I make my wife drive, so we can 'save' the Bronco for 'the good stuff.'
Have fun with your new Bronco.
Back when I had my 95 Explorer Sport my then 5 yr old would BEG me to drive through puddles to send up a big spray of water. Then, this thread popped up the day it rained in town for the 1st time since I bought my BS almost 6 months ago. Of course I had to drive through a puddle.
OH WOW! I...
Great idea. The car will tell you if you accidentally make a mistake.
At Off Roadeo I was in Rock Crawl mode, which automatically selected '4WD' and the rear diff. At one point I hit the 4WD button to take it out of 4WD mode. The car put up a diagnostic screen telling me that I can't...
The article suggests the prototype might be a Sport Raptor, or at least a more capable Badlands (big tires, higher ride height). Of course, it's all speculation at this point.
Not to mention, if it IS a Raptor, it's going to be more expensive than a straight Badlands.
I will not have buyer's...
Glad to hear it wasn't worse, and especially that you could drive it home. Nobody wants to call for a trailer.
I know the BS has 8+ inches of ground clearance, however, we got some advice from our trail guide at Off Roadeo Moab-- Tyler said be careful with anything that sticks up higher than a...
Just saw some of the dino tracks 3 weeks ago. They are about a mile down Mill Canyon Road (west of 191), South of the airport. Have to go down about a mile of dirt road, we saw motor homes towing SxS on trailers at the parking/camping area, ANY car can make it. Few hundred yards of walking...
I asked our trail guide if Off Roadeo was year round, and he said they're running all year except for 6 weeks for the holidays. Not sure what the weather is like.
Pony came from...
Ahhh, that is the close cousin of the whistle pig, it's a prairie dog at Valles Caldera National Preserve. There are numerous prairie dog colonies and a few hundred elk in the very large volcano crater.
We actually had to drive through the modern weapons lab at Los Alamos to get there. After...
-I- was perfectly happy driving up to Moab and back, but my wife always says if we're going on a trip, she's wants to get her money's worth. Besides Moab, we did Vegas, Glenwood Springs CO, Taos, Santa Fe and Gallup NM, and Phoenix before we returned home to California.
The Badlands did...
I got a bare manual with my May 23 build BL. If if I had known about this in advance, I'd have grabbed the manual cover from my C-Max before I traded it in.
Still, I'm not in the glove compartment very often, so I'm not bothered about the lack of a cover.
Gotta say, the squared off lines of that Soviet truck have a certain style, reminds me of something...
But yah, I'm way too wimpy for that climate. The morning after we did the Off Roadeo in Moab was the eclipse day. We got up early to try and beat the crowds to Canyonlands NP (SPOILER...
Congrats to the ladies!!! We've been on a 2 week road trip and actually drive past the finish line area (Imperial Dunes CA) just 2 days after the race ended. Looks like I have a year to work on my timing. There NEEDS to be a Bronco Sport Forum presence to represent.
