lordwally:
I've got a Badlands, and I put on the Ford Ranger Lift for it at 1.75".
In my opinion it was a noticeable difference. That said I think I have an unhealthy relationship with my car.
Anyway, it significantly changed the profile of the vehicle. It now appears much more blocky...
OvalOffice:
Is that the Ford Ranger Lifts Nudge Bar? Looks very similar to the one in the picture of the yellow Badlands on his site.
I've just ordered one.

Victorsen:
Thanks for the share man, and the pics.
Where I encountered the problem was pretty much with the first step, Part M installation of the 1/2" Screw with Plate. I followed the installation guide and video, pretty sure everything lined up but the place wouldn't sit how it was...
BS'ers:
Hey Guys. I ordered the Go Rhino Rock Sliders and tried to have my dealership install them. They said they were not able to get it to work. I looked at it (I've got no experience in working on cars), and the images in the instructions didn't seem to work on my vehicle. Note, I...
Meanderthal/Fake Cowboy (Anyone that knows...):
Are there additional risks to Adapters vs. Spacers? I don't see many people that seem to like spacers, but for some reason I see fewer that think highly of adapters.
I would think they face effectively the same concerns, but was just wondering...
Lane:
Thanks for the information on the size of tires and the rubbing. I know Meanderthal mentioned he had similar issues. I've got a 1" Spacer (your Adapter/wheels are fire man, what did you use? Can you post a link? Wondering if they have a 1" adapter), and am limited to the 235's if I...
RodNSA:
I have a question on the Rough Country Nudge Bar's 4" Light Option. I'm assuming:
The Bar comes with them attached?
Looks like the cabling has an interior switch?
Where did you postion the switch (pics please)?
Who are the lights manufacturers?
Much thanks for the share, and...
FakeCowboy:
Would you mind breaking this out as a seperate thread (think you should get the credit for the excellent work you did), maybe something titled around Spacers: Safety and Implications?
This is really good information, and I think others should understand what they are getting into...
BS'ers....
Just for everyone's information, I called Rough Country and inquired about the Nudge Bar installation on a Badlands. They said that the bar would interfere with the front trail camera on a Badlands.
If anyone has experience with the Rough Country Nudge Bar and a Badlands...
Mark S.:
I'm a ground pounder man, can't stand "losing my stomach."
I made the reference because I do play video games (I know I'm a nerd, that is how I became a data analyst).
I used to play "Red Baron" if anyone remembers when they used to make good games (not this twitch crap my kids...
Meanderthal / FakeCowboy:
First, thank you both. I'll be honest, it's going to take me abit to internalize what you just presented, but very impressed by the conversation and appreciate the information.
Visually, I do like the Spacer look, but clearly I need to look at what you are discussing...
Cyber Sport:
I have a hood bug deflector and if anything I think it added wind noise. Heading into the wind at speed I noticed that my hood "gyrates erratically" since I've added the bug deflector. I almost thought about removing it.
I added it because of an HRG video that I saw pertaining...
Winds of Change:
I'm so thankful for this site and for the incredible people on it!
So I called JCR about what modifications were required for the Badlands to the Bash Plates, and they said that JCR has not sent any of them out yet and they were not aware of any modifications outside of what...
Yikes!
I asked my girlfriend to turn the wheel over to I could see what you were talking about and my current 235/65/17's almost rub (in fact they may rub, but I don't see any wear on the fabric, what's up with the fabric anyway, that seems like a bad design plan. I guess noise reduction)?.
I...
Meanderthal:
Yeah, I know me again... On the plus side I think I've shown that I'm listening to you and learning in this space. On the negative side, I have a ways to go.
I know you said your tires on Olive were Toyo Open Country A/T 245/70/16. That you are using 16's so that you can go...
MykindofBS/DeadlySpaceman:
They do look great on your ride, very aggressive. Do you have spacers?
I know its a expense you likely don't need, but I LOVE this lift:

It definitely changes the ride height and...
