Laugh for the day. Chatted with Ford to see if they updated the delivery schedule. They come back and parroted the Ford website saying the car is still in production but added that it should be here between the 8th and the 14th. I didn’t have the heart to text her back asking if they were...
Just talked to Ford again today. They swear it’s gonna be on the next train out of town, and that the only reason it shows “in production” is because someone hasn’t finished the paperwork. No chip holds.
You would have thought that instead of waiting in Mexico for a chip the time waiting could have been spent in transport and then have the dealer install the chip.
Happy for you. Hope I get some good news this week too. I would not worry about the railroad strike. Under the Railway labor act. The President can order the railroad workers back to work. I’m assuming he will do that to prevent the economy from taking a hit. The airline industry, which I’m...
The perplexing thing about having a supposed Chip hold. On the FordPass app it’s not sending me any error codes for having a missing component. So it makes me wonder, if it’s missing a chip, which one is missing
The perplexing thing is how and why they choose which cars are put on chip hold and which ones are not. I know several outer banks that were built after mine with the same options that were already shipped. Same thing with Holligan88, I’m sure many Broncos have been built after theirs was...
Last I talked to Ford they still swore it had no chip hold and it will be here be the 14th. Of course, it’s still sitting in Mexico, in the same building it’s been for the last two weeks, and still “in production”
