Interesting the diagram makes it look like on the dash

Its b I was the one who ordered the part as I work at the dealership

Also the ambient temp sensor is behind the dash it looks like so would be a whole pull apart from what I can tell. They never fixed it to begin with. Never wanted to throw part at it with warranty for some reason.

That was my thought was the ambient temp sensor but my techs seem to believe that wouldn't make the controls turn off, but considering there's to temp displayed while its doing it I wondered if that could be a possibility.

How do you go about checking one that works intermediary and only when its hot outside?

Unfortunately mine isn't ac related my ac works just fine its the whole control panel that shuts off when its hot out side but as soon as it turns back on everything works

Update on this replaced the hvac control unit still having the problem do not have the money to keep throwing at it to fix anyone out there having this issue.
