I was thinking the same thing and went to at least tweak the bass and treble and found the dealer had it set on Stereo and not Surround. Now after 8-9 volume on some songs the doors are thumpin'.
Considering the SAS is a $4K (or so) Upcharge, it would be a guess than it would cost at least that to convert an older model. Sure, some of that up-charge is pure marketing profit... but when a Cargo Management system is $200 factory and swapping it out is close to $1000 (Panels and labor), it...
$200 from factory.
Est. $1000 (parts and labor) after.
Entirely different interior molding. Dealer labor to replace the rear interior is high.

Being able to commute 15-25 miles even gets you off petrol for quick runs to the grocery store, kids ball games, etc. Then Hybrid available for longer commutes or trips.
Definitely not a typical buyer.
Completely agree with the Allocation and Pivoting discussion.
Though I am "lucky" to still have a year before my buy probabably.
Hi,
My old SUV is getting ready to be passed down to my son (07 Highlander) and the BS BB looks to be about exactly what I am looking for.
I read the forums here and elsewhere, and people are so worked up over a "delay" on their order. Maybe my expectations are out of whack from not having...
Thanks.
And set-up does not allow for nudge bar to be drilled out to make the tow hook bolt holes available? I assume not based on all the other little things you caught and fixed up... but curious.
