Mine has moved too many times to count. Had it change once up a week now back the same week. Original build date was a month ago. Now 5/3... still waiting

So much for “no scheduling” this week. Just received my sixth... seventh production week change? Honestly I’ve lost count. The last three changes were 5/3, 4/26, and now again 5/3. Seems they can’t make up their minds. Email received at 9:02 tonight. Sad way to end the day for sure. For anyone...

I’ve seen photos of the 50” installed. Just barely clears the outside edge of rails. Personally, I’d go 53” and mount as low as possible for less noise.

You might have just solved it with the lack of “anti-sway chips”. Not sure if it’s separate but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Lower trims had a standard 12V power point in the center arm rest console instead of the two USB connections. And I can’t find it now but recall there was a slight difference in the center stack console power as well. Sounds like they are making it more a standard feature.

Agreed. If it were an option, I’d be doing all I can to rid myself of the black plastic trim. Mirrors, bumpers, etc. at least with the OB, we get door handles and I plan to add the body color fender flares.

10/2. Edit: sorry that was my original order date. I changed from a BB to OB on 1/27. The OB has changed production dates two times, and my old BB order (now the dealers to keep) has changed three times. I’ve got a lot of emails from Ford haha, hard to keep them straight.

Production date changed for the fifth time today. BACKWARDS! :D First positive movement I’ve seen since August. From 5/3, now up to 4/26!

Not entirely true. Only certain things are ties to the VIN: like trim level. The CMS can be added after VIN is assigned, just work with your dealer. I added to my prior order nearly two months after VIN was assigned. Note my build date was delayed so it was a good ways off from production/still is.

I want to add the shadow black to my OB, could probably order the parts and have it arrive long before my build in early May (delay #4). Same with the body color fenders flares.

Meanwhile there are a lot of us, myself included still waiting since August. Received my fourth delay this afternoon on OB+OB, now scheduled May 3rd. At one time I had a 2/15 production date but it continues to slip. Really wish Ford could get their sh*t straight. I understand the reasoning for...

That's the first May production date I've seen. A full month difference on build date for 1-week order difference between us. Scheduled 4/12, ordered on 1/27. Edit: Your VIN is available by calling the dealer.

That is indeed a very strange picture... like a mashup of models almost. Still I can guarantee it is a white roof on the Big Bend. Must be a weird angle with the lighting, or a filter on the photo that was posted. Edit: Also just a note, the 18" Big Bend wheels are slightly different from the...

If the roof was all black, then your dealer sent you photos of an OB, BL, or FE. Easiest way to tell is wheels or grille. UNLESS the entire car is shadow black, then it’s possible it was a BB or even base lol. I’m sure you wouldn’t be asking the question if that were the case though.

The brake light is LED surround, the blinker & reverse lights are incandescent.
