One of the things I like about the X-plan is how many rules both you as the purchaser as well as the dealer have to follow. Pricing is one thing the X-plan is very clear on. In particular is the paragraph that says :
The New Vehicle Purchase Program customer is entitled to the price in...
Its not just the 21's out of order either. Still waiting on a scheduling email for my badlands and I ordered on the 30th of last month. Saw on this forum at least one person ordered it less than a week ago and had a schedule date set in stone. Still trying to figure out the logic of the system...
I am no lawyer so I don't know what's legal and what's not, but I think Ford calls it a preview order for just that reason. They probably would argue that when the preview was made that was the price but the market changed. I have one of those preview orders as well, signed and all, but I...
The vin is the part where things get a bit hazy around the edges. The vin tracker here on the site brings up a sport so that's a good thing, but then in the Customer name field it says Undefined. Further down the form says Primary status in order processing. Under that it has a window sticker...
That interior combo is what I ordered as well. In pictures it looks nice though I cant say for sure as I have never seen inside any bronco sports in person. The only ones in the parking lot at the grocery store have had the other color. Interestingly they were all big bend trims. Three in...
Yes he did. I got the confirm mail from ford the day it was ordered. Since a post a few posts up got the same cyber orange build I got, more or less, priority code isn't a big factor either. Maybe its by dealer or state...
Difficult to say in what order Ford has its scheduling happening today. I ordered my badlands on the very first day the order banks opened and am still waiting for the email telling me when she will be built.
So I suppose all I have learned so far today is that order date must not matter...
Although I can only speak for myself, the idea that a car is not "the best choice" isn't a factor in my choice to buy a sport. As long as you want it and can afford it, then you should get it. Never know what tomorrow will bring, and you might be able to sell it for more than you paid for it...
This makes me sad. The sheet in the other thread said production starts November 1st. I guess there is no chance I will get my Christmas gift on time. Congrats on your order.
I waited for any dealer in Georgia to have exactly what I wanted on a badlands 21. That failed completely. This time around I ordered a 22 badlands exactly as I wanted the day the order banks opened.
They said the 1000 bonus for ordering worked with my x plan, and when the time comes to pay...
That's because its the new model year. Ford is worried about all the people who got tired of waiting and canceled so they added incentives to the 22 as well as the few remaining 21's. This year was a disaster for all car companies so they are trying to set the stage for a better 22. When this...
I looked at that site the ford guy linked for the esp. Long list of parts it does cover. Unfortunately based on what little has gone wrong with my current 11 year old vehicle, none of its very limited issues would be covered.
To be fair right now I have a Toyota which prides itself on quality...
That's why someone came up with the saying "if everyone was the same life would be boring." Everyone likes something different and that's okay. If it wasn't we would all still be driving black cars.
The horrid color of the badlands premium stuff is one two reason I didn't order a 2021 with the badlands package in march, the other being a leaky sunroof. They always leak no matter what brand of car it is.
Imo the only good interior is the ebony active orange which is what I have on order...
I got a 19 :( But its an x-plan and I don't think the dealer likes me much.
On the bright side after posting this I noticed my order does say I am getting a front license plate bracket. I didn't think I remembered to add it as the order document for the 22's says its optional.
I was going to get a fun front plate for my 22 sport here in GA but according to the 22 order guide:
"FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET - 153 - Standard in states requiring two license plates and optional to all others. "
I didn't think to include it on my order as I still have one in a sealed...
My ford guy asked me before I even sat down to start the paperwork if I knew how long I thought I would be waiting. I said 6 months. he admitted they have no idea what so ever. Too many variables. Though ford did say they had a better production month last month so maybe things are going faster.
I will find out exactly how much its costing me tomorrow. Going in the morning to sign the paperwork. Since ford already sent me the order confirmation email I know it went through. I just hope they got the price right. My ford guy didn't inspire me with confidence. I better get my 1000 bonus...
Adding myself to the list. Got my email from Ford this morning. The build priority code was a 19, but I guess that's what I get for using the x plan.
Cyber Orange Badlands with ebony active orange interior, tow package, cargo mat, splash guards, cargo management system and carpeted floor mats...
Ford would know but probably wont say. You could go to Mexico with a drone and fly over the parking lots they are in and count them. While your there you can pick up a fancy hat and some tacos :)
If Mexico is not a place you want to visit then your safest bet is to order a 2022 with a...
