Awesome. I emailed them with some questions. This is very similar to a tune I had that was via email for my Corvette that was a custom tune. I'm not sure how custom they can be for the Bronco though. Do you pay for the tune device, then another fee for the tunes?

For Livernois, did you have to ship them your ECU to get tuned or was it all via a hand-held plugin only?

It's on the underside of the center console armrest. It's mainly just a hole.

Thanks for that update. I'm glad you like Borla. I don't think they make the ATAK for the 2.0 though. I think the S will be good though. Why did you pick Livernois Tune? For the exact same price, I'd lean toward Pedal Commander. Although, what I'm really needing after the exhaust is hooked up...

What do you think of your Borla? Did you get the S-type? Loud enough? Sound good?

Thanks for that explanation! I remember my corvette did that after the headers and CAI and my tuner guy was able to tune it out. Maybe I can have that done with the Bronco too. I remember before fixing it that everyone who drove with me always said “ what is that?!”

What’s that obnoxious clicking after each throttle up? They all going to do that?

Oh bummer! I guess that’s my decision then. I wonder why? Maybe they couldn’t get it to tune right or something because the ATAK is smaller, so it should fit.

The S version is a backed off version of the ATAK. The Touring is the calmest of them. I like the loud growl but I don’t know what it will actually sound like on a 2.0 vs a V8. Looking for someone who has put the S or ATAK on their Bronco.

So, I've narrowed my search down to wanting Borla on my 2.0 Badlands. I plan to order next week. Now I need to decide if I want the S-type or ATAK version. Anyone done either one? Borla claims 100% no drone in the cab at any speed. :) I don't mind a little rumble and grow in the cab...

Good thoughts! I've personally never had a problem. Even in the situation that they charge a non-tag price, you just reach out to them and show them your plates are on the account and they apply it to the account instantly. That's just my opinion. :)

Actually, it doesn't need to be in sight. I put mine inside the top sunglasses holder and it reads it perfectly. I don't like to see it on my windshield myself.

Good to know! It could be that he doesn't stock them or make as much money other than Flowmaster or Borla. He did offer though if I bought them elsewhere that he could install them. Do you use two Vibrants with the Bronco or one? I'm pretty sure he said just one Flowmaster muffler. I might need...

BTW, my local muffler shop said he's taken off more Vibrants than put on and would not recommend them. He recommended the Flowmaster 80 series. He also said to drive it first with the resonator still on and to remove it later if I want it louder. I actually might do it the other way around and...
