I would normally qualify for the First Responder $500 promotion, but when I asked about it when I picked up my Bronco Sport in mid April, the dealer told me that Ford excluded the Bronco Sport from that off. However, as a consolation, they came up with promotion #38158 offering $500 in...
Really like the black BRONCO SPORT on the tailgate. I also have a white Badlands and have wondered in what crazy corner of the galaxy did some designer think white-on-white was a smart move.
How did you make the letters black. I'd like to do the same.
Thanks for sharing!!
How do you access 3.4.21098? I just checked the Ford Owner website and it shows 3.4.21020 as the latest available for my Bronco Sport. I would really like to get past this problem.
Thanks !
I’m also still having problems following 3.4 /21020 update. I seem to always get XM radio, movies and sometimes sports. All the other Travel Link features are hit and miss.
I did get a confirmation during one of many conversations with Sirius Tech Support that this is a known issue and...
You will likely get to “enjoy” the higher price WITHOUT the increased rebate. That’s what happened to me. Order my BS BL last August with a price shown on the order confirmation. When it arrived in April the price was $310 higher. Dealer said “That’s on Ford. You’ll have to talk to them”...
I have a BS Badlands and it has the same noise in normal driving, just before the 1-2 upshift, and during 2-1 downshift when coasting to a stop. It seems to be getting worse with miles, now at 1400.
Was out driving in a sandy wash in SAND goat mode and it made the sound continuously at 11...
There is one forum member, UofMEngineer, who is very helpful with many of the issues brought up here, especially Sync/Nav/Infotainment stuff. I saw him on RangerForum as well, and he identified himself there as working at Ford on Voice Recognition. He sure seems to know a lot.
I "think" all the downloads on my vehicle finally finished after 9 days. I followed Drapers advice and had Sirius close my subscriptions and then open them again, but ultimately that didn't help. My Travel Link subscriptions still will only work following a Master Reset, and then only until I...
I saw an article on Ford Authority.com yesterday (5/29) that reports Ford sent an email to all Bronco reservation holders saying that to make it up to them for production delays, Ford will provide them with priority access to Bronco Off Roadeo events.
How do you like that, Bronco Sport...
Because Ford chooses to disable Travel Link, and a lot of connected phone apps, while Sync 3 is updating maps. Wi-Fi connected downloads take literally tens of hours to complete. Its faster to do it by USB, but you may have to idle the engine for up to 2 hours (or go for a long drive with no...
I have discovered by trial and error (and by reading lots and lots of forum posts) that, apparently, when Sync 3 is updating (operating system followed by maps) it shuts off Sirius Travel Link services. This continues until all 13 map files are installed. Before I discovered all this, I kept...
It's not supposed to change things, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did.
I had to do a Master Reset to get Travel Link subscriptions to activate. That, in turn, deletes all previous settings including radio pre-sets, phone pairing and Ford Pass activation.
Do you have the Nav option? If...
I had the same problem with Travel Link not working following Sync 3 update to 21020. Called Ford CRC, they said it’s a Sirius problem. Called Sirius, they said it’s a Ford problem. Arrrrgh!!
Discovered that a Master Reset restores Travel link subscriptions but only for 2 start/run cycles...
Yes! I have the same noise. It's a very unpleasant noise that occurs at low speed / low load. As you say, parking lot speed. I had a 2020 Ranger FX4 with the 2.3L turbo that sounded the same. Metallic sound, sort of like a sewing machine chewing up a cheese grater.
