So, I actually bought the handle and had it painted black to offset colors on my tailgate and it didn't come with the shroud at all even though it's on the illustration.

Happens to me as well. Nothing to do with volume. Happens on my USB playing mp3s direct and streaming Bluetooth on multiple services.

Honestly I find the rain sensing sucks. Mine came with it and found it to only work half the time when it's lightly raining. Turned it off. Same with my edge.

Interesting Idea. Here is the wiring for the turn signals, front and rear. Also can be found at the towing connector. Yellow is Left, Green is Right. Edit: Looks like this is also found at the door modules. Calls out the mirrors actually.

You can put them where you need them to be for your application. You can always change it depending on what you're using them for. This is where I put mine.

I guess it's only fair that even though I did have an engine cover... I did not have a rear camera washer.
