no. to my knowledge and experience plastidip is generally harmless to paint and surfaces. are you planning on applying it to your tailgate / grille? or are you speaking on the overspray you get from plastidip? a solid overspray layer is what you want so it’s easier to peel when it dries but...

there’s a speedo calculator i saw someone post that says at 70mph reading, real speed is about 72.5 / 73mph. not exact numbers from the chart but it was something along those lines, i’m comfortable with those numbers but will want to get it reconfigured whenever i get the chance
